I had an excellent experience at Abingdon Smiles with Dr. Benjamin Mavelil and his assistant Taylor. I’ve had a lot of anxiety from past dental experiences, but they were incredibly patient and understanding. They took the time to explain every step thoroughly. Thanks to their care and professionalism, this was by far the best dental visit I’ve ever had. I truly appreciate how they made the whole experience so positive, and I would highly recommend Abingdon Smiles to anyone looking for a gentle, attentive dental team.
I had no idea what to expect with my first root canal, especially since the damage was pretty severe. Abingdon Smiles scheduled me in as soon as they could and Dr. Knudsen was amazing! It wasn't that painful at all and he was very informative the whole time. The music selection was also a big plus. Highly would recommend!
Easy paperwork even though I had missed for a while. Receptionist was awesome & helpful and may have had 3 hands😃. The hygienist was very knowledgeable & showed me some things I didnt know. I had to go to another dentist once because of insurance & they were all about selling me stuff. As always Dr. Moore was awesome. He came in and said everything I was hoping he would fix without me saying. I think he has a black belt in dentist. Oh. The efficiency that the other hygentist had getting all the patients out of the full waiting room & to rooms was incredible. Guessing 12 - 15 people in very few minutes. I’ll just go to them from now on, even if I don’t have have insurance.
I love coming here! As much as you can love going to the dentist, this practice is all about kindness and caring. Every one I have met and interacted with goes out of their way to be helpful and friendly! Dr. Moore is the best, and today I had Amy assisting him and she couldn’t have been nicer! We laughed and commiserated about our traffic woes in other areas and things we have in common. She was extremely gentle removing my temporary crowns and fitting the permanent ones. I feel fortunate to have found Dr. Moore and staff! I researched thoroughly and read numerous reviews before coming here. No regrets!! Thank you, Abingdon Smiles!! 100% every.time.
The doctor I saw was very knowledgeable and down to earth. He explained my opinions with out pushing me one way or the other. The young lady that assisted him was fantastic as well. Very knowledgeable and her job and very helpful when it came to pricing and insurance. I look forward to working with him and his staff.
