The actual work they do as Dentist and Dental assistants, very wonderful. I enjoyed going there and felt treated well when i got in for an emergency. When my daughter did get her cleanings, she enjoyed it there as well. I had to reschedule my daughter for her cleaning because of unforeseen issues. And as most know it is difficult to get into a dentist quickly so it took A LOT for me to cancel this appointment. They said I could make another appointment 7 months out. She gets two free cleanings a year...if it is 7 months between appointments, she is only getting one then. They told me they would put me on a list in case of cancellation, they haven't called me since July 2025. No one, not one person has cancelled in this entire time frame? How long is this list? I think the problem is taking on too many clients.
It was a great place until they sold. The new people in charge are horrible. I had 6 of us with this company and were always taken care of. I had major surgery done. I was supposed to get follow up care for a year which was covered by my insurance and they called shortly after the surgery and started dropping all of us due to being over booked. So I never got the follow up care and my family were forced to find another dentist. We never owed them money and paid up front along with great insurance. I would never take my family back to this place even if they offered free dental work. Horrible experience with the new owners and their lack of care for their patients.
The team at Accent is top notch. Ericka at the front desk is kind, genuine, and very helpful. Brooke was also great to work with and had me laughing in the chair. I typically dont enjoy going to the dentist, but these two made it an enjoyable experience. Thank you!
Been coming here for years, ever since my teeth were in dire need of help. They have always been accommodating, speedy, and efficient, which I enormously appreciate. Dr. Burton is very friendly and easy to chat with. My main dental hygienist, Heidi, is always very thorough, great for conversation, and very trustworthy. I have appreciated her service for years. Thank you to this dentist service, I'm going to miss coming here.
I stumbled onto Accent Dental Center when I first moved to Columbia because they are one of the only dentists in town that offers 7:30 am appointments to accommodate to the working folks. Today, 5 years later, I'm so glad I chose Accent!! They are so wonderful. They have always quickly squeezed me into their schedule when it comes to last minute emergencies (like losing my mouthguard multiple times) and they have been very flexible in switching appointments to fit my schedule. Dr. Burton is very thorough and is one of the most "pain free" dentists I have ever visited. I also appreciate that Dr Burton knows a lot of dad jokes and I think he is hilarious. My dental hygienist has been the same throughout he years and it's been great to see the same familiar face every time I visit. Shelby and the other front desk girls and fantastic! Very personable and friendly. Even though I typically only visit every 6 months, I feel like these girls are my good friends and it makes going to the dentist fun 😀 These girls need a raise! Great dental office! I can't give them a high enough rating.
