The staff and surgeon was very friendly and professional. Their outstanding care and concern for you while you are in their care and very excellent bedside manner all the way up til the end. I was so thankful that they allowed me to come in right away when I was in need of their condultatition. They even treated me that very day. Dr Vega was so quick and sensitive to my needs. He didn’t worry me ahead but gave clear instructions as to what too expect. His assistant was professional and friendly and calmed my usual nerves. Dr Vega is the best at anesthesia! I absolutely LOVE everyone I met. The doctor was amazing from day one explaining everything to my son. The day of his teeth extraction everyone was amazing to Anthony. As someone who has years of surgical experience Dr. Vega is someone you want for you or your loved one. There has been zero issues post procedure and my son is already on soft foods on day two. Dr. Vega even called this morning to check on Anthony which I was surprised and I love his care level. Dr. Vega’s staff are extremely knowledgeable, caring, and went beyond what is needed for my son. My visits were great. The initial visit that assessed my condition. Dr. V was great and was very detailed at what needed to be done and the impacts of what could be expected after the surgery. I came down with the flu just before my first scheduled surgery appointment and it was changed to 2 weeks later. The office stayed in contact with me by phone followup, and text to insure I was going to be fully recovered from the flu to make my rescheduled appointment. The surgery appointment went great and everything that Dr V explained at my assessment appointment was exact to what I experienced. The entire staff was very professional and kept checking with me to make sure I was conferrable and was not having unusual pain or having any other physical issues due to the surgery procedure. I received both verbal and written detailed instructions for the post surgery process. I highly recommend the Advanced Oral Surgery Center San Antonio to anyone that requires major dental surgery. Insure you let your primary dentist know you are interested in being recommended to them for your surgery need. Referral patients from your primary dentist is great, as when you get your assessment appointment the AOC SA office already has a background of your condition and can better assess your needs before scheduling surgery.
The entire team is absolutely wonderful. From the very first phone call to schedule my appointment through my first procedure, every staff member I encountered was friendly, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable. Dr. Vega takes the time to clearly explain his findings and treatment options, making sure you feel informed and confident about how to proceed. I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
