I was very pleased with my results and they actually were honest enough to tell me that I didn't need the work I thought I needed. And they charged me a very fair price so I would highly recommend Affordable Dentures to anyone! I want to thank Dr Davis for his excellent work as well and all the rest of his staff included.
The nurses there were awesome. However the dentist had no bedside manner. Very unsensitive to how nervous I was or if I was in any pain. Keep telling me to just breath. Well how do you expect me to do that whenever I can't breath out of my nose at all so I have to breath out of y mouth. They used no suction for the blood. So having 10 teeth pulled there was alot of blood that I was basically having to swallow. Then after getting the dentures in and rushed out the door I was sick. Just felt very rushed and seen as Just another patient. Not friendly at all. No instructions on what to do or what to expect over the next few days. As I sit here and cry I can't keep them in my mouth and the denture glue isn't helping. Gagging every 5 minutes. I'm weak. Probably dehydrated. And no clue what will help.
Do not go to this place if you are on Medicaid . Black Mt, NC Area franchise. The tall male dark haired dentist with glasses is a psycho. They will treat you with abhorrence. The quality of denture is extremely poor. Not only did he slice open the roof of mouth and it didn't heal. I only had 8 teeth that needed extraction. He dump tons of numbing solution down my throat because he would no fix or replace the leaking syringe needle or syringe. He used what looked like side cutters to smash my teeth out then kept giving me shots and digging and breaking bone. All the while saying we can't have you in pain. Shouting to open my mouth wider after having my mouth wide open what seem like an hour with no apparatus to assist. Then stuff very poorly made doll teeth in my brutalized mouth. Then told to wear for 24 hrs. When I came back to have stitches removed by a female assistant. I ask if this was the final product she told me yes that's what your insurance paid for and if I had any problems with soreness make an appointment. I never returned to that place and I would not recommend to anyone. The dentures never fit right and only stay in with copious amounts of adhesive. You can't eat with them in. There is no pallet in the denture so it's really hard to speak with them in. The teeth they use are child size teeth and do not even look like adult teeth quite unnatural. If you don't like Medicaid patients then don't except them. If you are using Medicaid. Steer Clear.
This was my first visit, and so far it has been very pleasant. I am TERRIFIED of rhe dentist and was helped to relax and kept me in the loop of what was happening... I dont really look forward to my surgery visit, but I'm a little less scarey. They were very professional, I just hope the rest of the visits are as pleasant as this one...
I went to affordable dentures and implants of Asheville. The ladies at reception were very nice and so was the staff. The dentist I seen so very polite, he explained everything and told me my options. So glad I found out about their office. No long waiting which is important to me. So I was in and out in under an hour. Very adequate at what they do. I would recommend them for anybody wanting their teeth fixed. Very nice
