Powered by GoogleWe had the most amazing experience with Dr. Habib. I can't stop thinking about how attentive, nurturing and such a joy to work with. She made my 10 yr old son who is on the spectrum feel so supported during his extractions. She kept us in the loop the entire time and consoled him as she did an amazing job at making him comfortable. Thank you again! We will definitely be back! I had a good experience with my wisdom teeth removal at Akeso with Dr. Dhanani :) He along with the rest of the staff were all professional and personable. I was fortunate to not experience any complications, which in great part is attributed to Dr. Dhanani's skills as an oral surgeon. The aftercare instructions were comprehensive, and I was even called so they could make sure I was okay and to answer any questions I may have had. I was pleasantly surprised by this! And it made my recovery less mentally taxing knowing that I could easily get in touch to resolve any possible complications. Overall I would definitely say you're in good hands coming to this location.
I had a wonderful experience at this practice. The receptionist I worked with was warm, kind, and very professional — she clearly explained all costs and payment options. The dental surgical assistant was amazing. She talked me through the procedure step-by-step, reassured me when I was nervous, and made sure I felt comfortable the entire time. The oral surgeon, Dr. Dhanani, was excellent as well. He could tell I was anxious and took the time to review the treatment plan that was best for me. During the surgery, both he and the assistant checked in frequently to make sure I was okay and not feeling pain. What truly stood out was that Dr. Dhanani personally called me after the procedure to check on how I was doing and how my healing was going. That level of care meant so much. 10/10 service — I would absolutely recommend this practice to anyone. Truly a great team and a great experience.
*My current review is contingent on a dispute being (presumedly) resolved. If changes occur, I will update accordingly.* 1/9/2026 - Arrived and checked in for my appointment at 8:39am. My appointment time was at 9:00am. I was instructed to head to the waiting room for someone to get me for my procedure. The waiting room was pretty full. All chairs were occupied at one point. At 9:00am, Ashley (assistant) came to the waiting room to get me and my relative. We headed to the exam/procedure room, where Ashley verified my information and confirmed what I was there for. Ashley then escorted my relative back to the waiting area because she said they couldn’t be there during the procedure. Moments later, Ashley came back and Dr. Lazer came in and greeted me. Then went over what he was going to do. Advised me that if I felt any pain or discomfort to let him know. He proceeded to start the procedure. Naturally, I felt a lot of pressure but no debilitating pain. By 9:18am, he was done. He told me aftercare instructions and asked if I had any questions. He also offered to write a prescription for extra strength Tylenol (although, later, the pharmacy claim they never received the prescription in their system). Ashley provided me with a kit to care for my mouth. It contained a gauze, piece of paper with the instructions and an ice pack. I met with my relative in the waiting room and went to the front desk. I inquired about checking out and they said I was “good to go”! I thanked them and left. I ended up just buying the Tylenol without the prescription. I didn’t want to have to call Akeso and wait. 1/12/2026 - I was pleasantly surprised to receive a voicemail from Dr. Lazer at about 9:30am today. He was calling to see how I was doing, after the procedure on 1/9/2026. I have a follow up appointment with my general dentist to ensure everything is healing well and to discuss my next steps. So far, nothing out of the ordinary. There's some mild discomfort and occasional pain but I make sure to follow Dr. Lazer's and my general dentist's instructions, so I can heal properly. My general dentist warned me about "dry socket"--which was not mentioned when I had the procedure done.
From making the appointment to receiving treatment. We had a wonderful experience with this location and staff. My daughter (8 years old) had to see a specialist and I'm so glad we made trip. Dr. Habib and Aysia were excellent! They immediately made her feel comfortable and treatment was a breeze. My daughter healed well and bounced back quickly from her procedure.
