Our family LOVES and I do mean L-O-V-E Alamo Maxillofacial Surgical Associates!!! We've had the best experience with them and we could not be more pleased with how everything worked out!!! We had a kiddo who had wisdom teeth that needed removing. Everyone - and I do mean EVERYONE - from the dr to staff to technicians to nurses were ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL. Every single person we interacted with was professional, courteous, friendly, HELPFUL, patient and knowledgeable. Everyone we interacted with were willing to answer any and all questions that I had and immediately addressed any concerns that arose. Calls were promptly returned whenever they were unable to answer, but if during business hours they would answer the phone. They cared about not just their patient - but also us worried parents - before, during and after the procedure. We are THRILLED with how well things turned out and the results. I know that not every case is the same and everyone has different variables that affect their situation, but I CAN NOT SAY ENOUGH ABOUT HOW MUCH I TRULY LIKED THIER PRACTICE and EVERYONE WE CAME IN CONTACT WITH. When insurance was involved they went to bat for us and helped us get everything squared away and that all forms/approvals were correct and obtained. If we need any other dental surgeries I would ABSOLUTELY and WITHOUT HESITATION go back and see them - they would be my first choice for care.

I chose to have all 4 of my wisdom teeth along with a molar removed here instead of my dentist for safety and comfortability reasons. Dr. Hanna was the surgeon who performed my extractions and at the initial visit along with the surgery day he was great. I don’t think the experience could have gone any better. He is great at what he does. I had my surgery on a Thursday and over the weekend began experiencing severe sinus pain along with feeling faint. I was scared so I called in and was able to speak to Dr. Hanna. He provided assurance but over the next few weeks of my healing I had questions and concerns. It seemed like every time I called or went in to be seen, Dr. Hanna was visibly annoyed with my presence and questions. It felt like he took my concerns as an attack on his work, but in reality I was seeking guidance. Obviously I am not a dentist or oral surgeon, and it is only my duty to advocate for myself so to feel like I was a nuisance was unfortunate. A patient should never feel uncomfortable bringing concerns to their physician.

Dr. Rominger was amazing, during consultation and during my son’s wisdom teeth surgery. I’m so grateful for the care Dr. Rominger and his staff showed my son.

My general dentist referred me to this place for an extraction. Got a call from their front desk today and she was super rude to me for no reason. I was asking for an estimate based on my insurance, but we never got to that point. She said she would first get me in for a consultation, so i asked an estimate for the consultation visit. She said i need to schedule you first and then we will send you the estimate 2 days prior. While scheduling for the consultation she said that the Dr sees patients at boerne and stone oak locations which one you want to schedule at. When i asked for stone oak location (since boerne is far for me), she goes no the Dr doesn’t have any availability in stone oak at all. For each of these topics, I had to ask her multiple times to get me a proper answer, she kept saying ‘as i said earlier’ for no reason. It was a really frustrating call. Thankfully I didn’t schedule anything here!

0 Stars if I could! NOT 1 star! My husband used Dr. Franco for a procedure last year & liked him. Fast forward to now I needed a consult & asked a few times if the consult to discuss options, if it needed to be billed to insurance & or if I would be charged at all. I ASKED UP FRONT! The answer was NO ma'am there is no charge to consult & let you talk to Dr. Franco. I was about to book with him after a great discussion of options & today I get a call from billings saying I owe a balance after insurance charged. The doctor is fantastic BUT be warned they are super expensive & sneaky billing staff. They play the blame game so just be prepared to have your insurance charged for the pano xrays & consult no matter what they tell you. Welp, I crossed this office off our list & we were about to use them for 2 of us. They LOST US! Not that this office cares though. Best of billing luck if you use them. VERY DISHONEST! Healthcare in the US is a JOKE! -0- stars
