⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ After having an unpleasant consult experience in Fairbanks for a procedure I was looking to have done, I began searching for another periodontist — even considering flying out of state. I decided to look into providers in Anchorage and that’s when I found Alaska Periodontics & Implant Surgery. I had my consult in November with Dr. Broquet, and from the moment I met her I felt at ease. After speaking with several other professionals, she was the first to truly take the time to evaluate my case and explain everything in a way I could understand. She was incredibly patient with me and so reassuring, especially after the anxiety I carried from my earlier experience. I left that consult confident and immediately scheduled my procedure with her. In February, I had the procedure done. Dr. Broquet and Renee made sure I was comfortable the entire time and that I experienced minimal discomfort. They sent me home with everything I needed for recovery. Dr. Broquet even called to check on me that evening and shared her personal number in case I had any questions or concerns. Honestly, my recovery involved very minimal pain — just slight soreness — and overall the experience was far easier than I expected. I highly recommend Dr. Broquet for any periodontal needs. She is an exceptional doctor, and Alaska is so fortunate to have her. If you have an appointment with her, you are truly in good hands. The entire team at Alaska Periodontics & Implant Surgery is wonderful. It is absolutely worth the drive from Fairbanks to Anchorage for your periodontal care.
I loved my experience at this clinic. It’s hard to get into and not in network for any insurance so that could be hard to navigate. However that being said, the customer service was amazing. The provider gave me all medications I needed to be comfortable during and after care. She called twice after the procedure to check on me. My favorite part is that she didn’t make me feel bad or ashamed of Perio status but rather made me feel glad I was getting it addressed. I definitely recommend this team if you are able to make it happen.
Expect 6-8 weeks to get an appointment. Didn’t accept all insurance so make sure to check. No wait for appointment time and quick exam. Great bedside manner, clearly explained procedures and costs up front.
Dr Wanat and April preformed implant surgery on me. They both made sure I knew exactly what was going to happen and what to expect after surgery. Plus made sure I was comfortable throughout the procedure. They are not just a good Doctor & staff, they’re good people too.
Returned after 3-4 months of healing. Dr. Wanat checked his previous work and ensured I am ready for m next step. Love this place and the staff.
