I have been a patient of Dr. Sparks for the past several years. I have had the following procedures done: multiple gum resections, deep cleanings, several bone grafts, tooth removal and a molar implant. It is important to note that all of these procedures were because of many serious dental issues. Dr. Sparks not only took the time to inform me about what was going on; he created a treatment plan for me and he explained everything in such a way that was easy to understand, and insured that I was an active participant within my treatment. All of the hygienists that I have had, have been caring, gentle handed, and absolutely are not condescending or judgmental in anyway. During the time where I needed my implant, I had maxed out my dental insurance. Because I needed the procedure, I went ahead anyway. Throughout this process, there were several people that explained charges to me, deductions, and costs. Never once did I feel taken advantage of. I mean this wholeheartedly when I say that Dr. Sparks and his staff have changed my life. My most recent check up indicated pockets of 1-3 mm, which, if you struggle with pockets, you know this is a dream. I have recommended Dr. Sparks, and his staff to everyone I know. If you need to navigate this area of your health- Dr. Sparks is the person to go to. The office is professional, and kind. Not to mention everyone is funny. You can tell they are like family! This has been one of the best decisions I have made in terms of my oral health. Thank you, Dr. Sparks!
I started seeing Dr Sparks about 16 years ago. At first everyone seems very caring and compassionate. I had dental issues and they assured me they could help. I had high hopes as Dr Sparks seemed so genuine about helping me. Over time I felt more and more taken advantage of. Excessive amounts of cleanings at very high prices. Promises of dental implants at a certain price and then when it came time the price was doubled. Claims of needing x-rays again and again with the assertion that they needed them to put together a treatment plan. A treatment plan that never came. Twice I was accidently over charged several hundred dollars and instead of returning the money, they said they would just give me credit for next time. ( This by the way is something several other reviewers have attested to ) He said he needed to pull my wisdom teeth when I had already had them pulled as a teenager. In the end I had less teeth then I started with. Luckily for me, I have recently married and I am now seeing my husbands dentist who has helped me feel so much better about my smile. I told him about my treatment at my former dentist and he said unfortunately there are dentists out there who have large assembly line like offices with multiple exam rooms and a large amount of staff that are just in it for the money because they know the general public has little knowledge of professional dental care. In closing I'd like to say, please everyone get a second opinion on your dental care. The sweet talking kindness of a doctor does not mean the doctor is ethical.
Dr. Sparks have been taking great care of my teeth, bone grafts, and implants for 10 years. Highly recommend.
Dr Sparks is the Creme de la Creme of implant surgeons. He is professional with excellent technical skills. He is compassionate, friendly, and caring. His staff adheres to these same standards and characteristics. Both he and his staff went above an beyond on an issue I had post implant that fell to my general dentist to resolve. I have experienced quite a bit of dentistry and I will repeat that Dr Sparks and his team are the best of the best.
Was referred to Dr. Sparks for an extraction/implant and had a wonderfully amazing experience, which, who knew could happen in dentistry? Dr. Sparks is kind, patient and gentle and his staff is friendly, knowledgeable and fun to be around. I received top quality, professional care by a team with a high level of expertise.
