Powered by GoogleI had such a genuinely pleasant experience at my dental visit today thanks to dental assistant Denise Mundy. She was incredibly gentle and patient, and she explained everything in a way that made me feel completely at ease. Denise has a wonderful chairside manner — warm, reassuring, and attentive — the kind of presence that instantly calms any nerves. On top of that, her sense of humor made the whole appointment feel lighter and more comfortable. It’s rare to meet someone who blends skill, compassion, and personality so effortlessly. I’m truly grateful for the care she provided.
I got the feeling they were hiding something from me. When I made my appointment they claimed they could not perform what needed to be done if I was over 35. When I came in they said 25. When they spoke to my mother they said 26. They literally gave me 3 different stories. If your going to lie to me at least keep your story straight. Then their is the fact they never called my dentist that referred me to get the information on what needed to be done and tried to do their own thing disregarding all of that entirely. Care source is picky about what they pay for but even when I offered to pay out of pocket they still refused and spoke of age restrictions and root growth (that's not even including the fact they gave 3 different ages in that restriction at that). According to several sources this is not true there are plenty of people who have tooth extractions and the same procedure done at much higher ages im talking 40s and 50s. Personally I feel like they refuse certain ages not because of insurance or age but because of a personal reason. If this was due to insurance or age when I offered to pay out of pocket the answer would have been completely different and people of higher ages wouldn't have it done. Imagine Grandma with denchers guess she must of pulled those out with some pliers from the woodshed huh 🤣. I feel like I was lied to and not very well at that. If your going to lie to me stick to the same story don't have it change 3 times. I will be contacting care source so I can find someone else and letting them know about my experience so they can look into this further because something is fishy here. I will let them handle what happens after this. It's very clear lies were told the question is why? Care source recommended this place so now it looks like they need to investigate what is going on because information isn't adding up. It's not up to me so good luck with that. 🤷
I cannot recommend this practice enough! After having several horror story' dental experiences in the past... I am so grateful that God led me here. For the first time I actually feel safe and at peace in the dentist's chair. The front desk staff is incredibly kind and helpful! They even offered to help watch my kids so I could focus on getting my crown fixed! The dentist is clearly very knowledgeable and takes the time to explain everything, and the hygienist gives excellent, practical recommendations. If you’re looking for a team that genuinely cares, this is the place :) - Kylee
I visited this dental office about two months ago because I had two cavities. After taking a jaw X-ray, they told me that since I had previous jaw surgery, I needed to see an oral surgeon and get approval before they could proceed. I scheduled an appointment with an oral surgeon. The surgeon said one tooth could be saved and the other needed to be extracted, and the extraction was done there. After that, I returned to my dentist to have a root canal done on the remaining tooth, but they referred me to another clinic for the root canal. I went to the referred clinic, had the root canal completed, and they told me I needed a crown. They also said they don’t do crowns and referred me back to my original dentist. Today, when I contacted my dentist again to complete the final step (the crown), they told me I needed paperwork from a primary care physician. I explained that I recently moved to Ohio and don’t have a primary care doctor yet, but they still insisted. What’s frustrating is that no one asked for this document during the extraction or the root canal process. I was sent from place to place throughout this entire process, and in the end they refused to complete the final treatment. This caused a lot of wasted time, money, and frustration. I expected a more organized and patient-focused experience.
Dr. Nick provided outstanding service from start to finish. He was professional, kind, and took the time to make sure everything was explained clearly. The experience was smooth and comfortable, and I truly felt well cared for. Highly recommend Dr. Nick!
