I went to Alpine because I was referred by my dentist. I needed a tooth extraction and the bridge it was connected to removed. I've had terrible experiences with dentists since I was 5 years old. I was extremely apprehensive. I shouldn't have been, because this practice had highly competent and compassionate staff. I couldn't have asked for a better experience than I've had so far (appointment was yesterday). I felt a little punky yesterday afternoon and evening, but woke up today with no pain, no bleeding, no discomfort of any kind. Dr. Allyn and his staff were amazing, kind and understanding of my fears. They're very patient and calming - I don't have enough adjectives to say how pleased I am with the outcome. The videos they provide are extremely helpful, so I knew what was going to happen. NO ONE should hesitate to seek care at Alpine. I can't imagine anyone better.
I was super nervous to get my wisdom teeth out, and after letting them know this the staff made it their responsibility to make me feel better. My nurse (i dont remember her name) was super friendly and hilarious making it 10 times better. And Dr. Holtzen did very good at describing the procedure step by step. This was my very first surgery and it went by quickly and easily. The waiting time was also very quick. I also thought it was super nice that when i told them i cant take Ibuprofen, since it inflames my stomach, they happily switched my medication to being acetaminophen instead of getting upset about it. I will definitely recommend this place to everyone i know. And if I need another oral surgery I will 100% be back!
I truly had a 5 star experience with Alpine Oral and Facial Surgery! I had all four of my wisdom teeth removed under IV sedation by Dr. Allyn this past weekend, and I was thoroughly impressed by everything. The staff was very informative, helpful, professional, and put my mind at ease, as soon as they talked to me. The waiting room is full of beautiful decor that feels very comfortable and inviting that really helped put me at ease. As someone who has extreme dental anxiety and fear of getting IV’s, has never had any teeth extracted before, or has ever been put under IV sedation, I would honestly do it all over again! Had I known it was nothing to worry about, I would’ve never worried myself so much beforehand because as soon as I walked through those doors, I was in good hands. I went under roughly 20 minutes after arriving, and they were able to take an X-ray of my teeth, talk about and answer any questions I might have had about the procedure, remove all four teeth, and get me home in a little over an hour! Took them 16 minutes just to remove my teeth, and I was completely unaware of it, and it was 100% pain free! One second you’re awake, you start to feel sleepy, then next thing you know, you’re being woken up! I’d highly recommend this place to anyone in need of exceptional dental care for any of the procedures they offer. They also accept Medicaid, and my procedure was covered, but even if it wasn’t, they’re extremely reasonable. I’m 4 days post-surgery, and I’m extremely happy and grateful I was able to get my teeth taken care of since they were causing me great pain! I’ve had very minimal pain and swelling, along with no bruising. I’d say 3/10 for everything. I’m relieved that I can finally get back to living life!
Dr Allyn explained the procedure in detail and answered questions so I could understand. The young ladies that prepared me for the surgery were absolutely second to none! They were professional and very good at what they did before and after. Explaining every detail. Very pleasant group of young ladies.
This clinic waa really amazing. Professional from the moment you step in the door. Every person i had contact with was very kind, informative and kept me updated on exactly what would happen. Dr. Holtzen was just awesome. I felt well taken care of and all went well. Highly recommend Alpine
