Powered by GoogleI had to get my wisdom teeth taken out, the lady at the front desk is super nice! So was the dental assistant! I had an exam done prior to the surgery, met with the hygienist and she went through and explain what the best treatment would be, and things I could do to maintain my teeths health on my own. The finance lady (Marcela I think it's spelled) was awesome about helping me find payment plans. And now on to the surgery: I had my bottom wisdom teeth taken out at a different place and had a bad experience so I was quite nervous. But Dr. Calderon ordered me a seditive to calm my nerves, used numbing gel and numbing shots. Listened to me when I said that one side wasn't feeling as numb. He said "don't worry, I was planning to numb it more on both sides anyways" He kept asking if I was feeling anything, If I was doing okay. He was probably in my mouth for 10 minutes total! When he said we were done I couldn't believe it, I didn't have any pain or pressure the entire time. It was such a quick experience filled with the nicest people.
The Doctors and nurses here are great. They were nice, communicated well and are very skilled. They recommended I get some fillings redone, and Im very glad I did! My bite is much better now!
I am reviewing this office also since it seems the same dentist works here also to possibly help warn people about this place. I went in for a denture consultation and was given a different treatment plan. I asked the doctor for options for both and was told my dentures would be more expensive. Then I talked to the finance manager about both options and found out dentures were an option I could afford with financing. The finance manager left the room to get approval from the doctor then came back and I finished financing the procedure for dentures and paid cash that day also to make the payments smaller. On the day of my procedure to get dentures I was told by the same doctor that she did not authorize it and would not do it without me talking to another finance manager. After talking with them, I was told they would still do my dentures but it might not be covered now with my insurance. The manager and doctor tried to get me to do the other treatment plan that I could not afford so I ended up canceling everything with them. The manager and doctor both made me feel like I was a liar and that I had no idea what was going on or why I was even there for the dentures. The one thing I didnt understand was how I was able to schedule a procedure if the doctor said they didnt approve it. I will not be going back to them and will be finding a different place for me and my kids. Hopefully they refund my money like they said they would. I would not recommend them. Update: my 18 year old son who is also on my insurance went to aspen dental for a appointment. He was told they could not find his insurance (which is the same as mine and my 2 other kids. All of which they had no problem finding) so they made him pay for everything out of pocket that day. They never even tried to file a claim for him and when I spoke with my insurance they confirmed he is good and should have been covered for his appointment. So now my son is out over 300 dollars for an appointment that should have been covered. It just seems too convenient that the only member of my family they could not find to bill was the only other adult who could finance the his treatment plan through them. Update 2 My other 2 kids were also seen at Aspen Dental, and were both told they had a gum disease that needed expensive treatment, water pics, and toothbrushes. We saw a different dentist today for a second opinion and neither of my kids have the gum disease that Aspen Dental said they had. Thankfully I went and got a second opinion before wasting any more money with Aspen Dental. This company seems more focused with collecting money from people than actually helping them. I would give them a 0 star if I could.
i went for a cleaning, didn’t receive a cleaning. told me everything that was wrong with my teeth then proceeded to tell me it was 4k to receive any work. also said “i don’t get to see pretty teeth or healthy gums anymore” then preceded to make eye contact with me.
Who says they enjoy going to a dentist? Well I did today. Very very great price for x-rays & exam. Took care of the pain & had the same concern I had that no other dentist ever mentioned.
