I have only good things to say about my experience at Aspen Dental. I have had 3 visits and they have all exceeded my expectations. They are punctual, professional and very friendly. My most recent visit I had cosmetic work done by Dr. Iulo - I am so happy with my smile now. He was outstanding! Thank you to Dr. Iulo and the team at Aspen Dental.
SCAM. My first visit. I requested an exam and cleaning. 2 hours to have an exam and rads. I am not exaggerating. Then, I was told to sit in a holding tank for 35 min. I was about to walk out when a lady sat me down to discuss a $500 payment that my dental insurance wouldn't cover. This included a $79 cavity filling (totally fine) and some kind of crazy cleaning. That nutty service would need to be scheduled another time. I asked if I could please have the routine cleaning I came in for, that's covered by my insurance. They were confused by my request, but would go inquire about it. They came back and said they would fit it in if I would wait. I was put back in the holding tank. My teeth were finally cleaned and my day ruined. Over three hours of my life I will never get back. My husband was told he needed an extraction and an even more expensive cleaning, totally $2800 out of pocket, not covered by insurance. It felt like a dirty used car lot and I was really uncomfortable. Maybe this works for some people, but not me. I prefer the private practice.
I can't say enough about the Aspen Dental West Ashley team! I was greeted by Sakina who made a great first impression. Jade took me back and put me at ease during my scanning and x-rays. I have huge tori's but Jade got me through this step with such compassion. Kat then took over and she was extremely professional and knowledgeable. After meeting Dr. Iulo, I was convinced that becoming a new patient of this practice was a good decision. I appreciate you and will see you after my root canal consult with Dr. Steinkruger.
I had a wonderful experience at the West Ashley location. The front office staff was prompt, professional and welcoming. The dentist and hygienist did an amazing job. They were thorough and explained everything during my procedure. I highly recommend this Aspen Dental location.
