I’ve had several appointments here recently for a filling, a root canal, and a crown, and the care has been genuinely excellent. The front desk is awesome; the check-in, Naveah, is super sweet. The office manager and checkout, RJ, is fantastic; organized, patient, and great at navigating the insurance maze. Kendall and Nasiah (the dental assistants) are adorable, friendly, caring, and somehow make sitting in that chair feel less like a hostage situation. Dr. Kaur is amazing. She's patient, skilled, and great at explaining what’s happening so you don’t just sit there wondering if you still have a jaw. Dr. Yuth is a root canal wizard. I barely felt a thing, even the numbing shot! He was extremely gentle and with excellent bedside manners. If every endodontist were like him, people would brag about their root canals. I did see the temp dentist, Dr. Abebe. She was fine, just a little more on the rough side than my nerves prefer, but still got the job done. Overall: great office, great people, great service. Highly recommend. I will be back.

Inaccurate communication. When I called to make an appointment the woman on the phone was pleasant. I can't comment on the actual medical workers since they canceled my appointment. People should be aware of some major policies that are not explained when you call to make an appointment. Knowing these would make the experience much better for everyone involved. Initially, you are talking to someone from a call center not the local office. I realized it after asking questions about the office and the woman didn't know anything. I was pleased that when I called they had multiple appointments available within the next couple of days. I should have picked up on the red flag that this was an issue. When I arrived they said that even though I called to have a cleaning and repair for my tooth, they don't do anything on the first appointment and require you to come back for another appointment. I'm glad I didn't take off work to come in. The call center woman also made a point to say I could ignore any communication from and fill in any paperwork when I came in in a couple days. I was happy about that. Before coming in I got a text message that they had canceled my appointment. I went in anyway to do the paperwork and see if they can see me or reschedule. When I got there the office manager seemed highly upset that he had called me and I had not received the call so it's his standard to cancel the appointment. He kept saying over and over how he had left me three messages - which after looking wasn't true. When I told him that he should probably talk to the call center so that they are giving out accurate information specific to that office he brushed me off and said he wouldn't. So if you're making a first appointment there you should realize that you're not talking to someone from the actual Charlottesville office, they are not honest about saying that they are scheduling you for a consultation and not to take care of what you are making the appointment for, that if you don't answer the phone then call them back every appointment they cancel the appointment and that the office worker makes no apologies and doesn't care about the misinformation and confusion.

Went to have my tooth pulled couldn’t have my tooth pulled because my blood pressure was high informed the dentist I have high blood pressure and I’m in pain she refused to pull my tooth and told me I would have to reschedule after my pcp filled out a form. I told her I could have that done but what am I to do until my next appointment she said she would send me something for pain when I went to get my prescription it was only a one day supply. So I went back to the office and the dentist told me that I had to get my doctor to fill out the form and when I told her I had to wait until my doctor gave me the form back but what am I to do for pain when she only gave me a one day supply and it’s the weekend so obviously I won’t have the form until Monday the latest so what was one day supply going to do for me she told me she needed the form and she’ll get me scheduled after the form. Again one day supply will not help me. She walked away and and said she needed the form. I canceled my future appointments. And will not be returning called my insurance to dispute any charges

Excellent dental practice! The staff is friendly, professional, and makes you feel comfortable from the moment you arrive. The dentist is highly skilled, explains procedures clearly, and truly cares about patient comfort. The clinic is clean, modern, and well-organized. Highly recommended for quality dental care.

I walked in to discuss my treatment plan yesterday - Shay was very kind and helpful and was able to provide me with some helpful information. Today I came back and RJ was super knowledgeable and made sure to explain all my options, he got me scheduled in quickly and made me excited for my teeth journey. The environment is super friendly and I’m happy I chose to come here!
