Powered by GoogleMy hygienist Nina was wonderful, beginning to end. And she made today’s visit extra special, in a small but powerful way. During my last visit, Nina and I were talking about being a kid at the dentist vs being an adult, and how one of the small comforts I really missed was flavored toothpaste. As an adult, it’s mint, mint or mint. When did adult toothpastes get hiring? Today, Nina comes striding in with a smile so big, I can see it through her mask. She says “Adam! I have a surprise for you!” I bust out laughing; what a thoughtful holiday surprise! The box says “Give kids a tasty treat” - adults like tasty treats too! So if you go here, know they have a whole box of flavored toothpaste for other adult like me. 😁
I’ve been a patient at Aspen for many years. This past year, I’ve started to come to the Chelmsford location after moving. I’ve had a couple cleanings so far and I am thoroughly impressed about how I am treated. I never love going to a dentist appointment but the ladies in Chelmsford make me feel very comfortable and make me feel like family. Dr. Huang is a sweetheart and runs a great office. I know I’m in good hands when I come in.
Where do I start…. First off when you walk in you are greeted with a huge smile and a warm welcome by Mercedes. Then you are helped by the rest of the amazing staff there. I went in for a routine check up which usually drags but this location was quick and efficient. I was helped by Steven who answered every question I had and made it easy and was super relatable. I also sat with Nina who went above and beyond and had the calmest presence which made this trip easy. Right before leaving I got to sit with Wis who also answered all of my question with a smile on her face and reassured me on everything I asked. This was the best experience I have ever had. Please give everyone a raise!! 10/10 will recommend
After fighting hypodontia a genetic disorder that caused enamel to never form on my adult teeth my entire life. I decided it was time to have them pulled and get dentures and eventually implants. I knew it would not be a walk in the park, I also know that humans make mistakes. After a full extraction, tori removed and then an alveoloplasty surgery. It was finally time to start my permanent dentures, which are signature elites. Spent 6 days in a row going in for castings, fitting ect. The day they were ready I went in and Dr. Zhiqiang Huang had left to see family in another country. So Dr. Alexandra Zarifis was the one to deliver my permanent dentures, which I am now in my bedroom crying from the pain that is radiating down the side of my face into my jaw, my gums are burning and I can not even think straight. Dr. Alexandra Zarifis Couldn't get my permanent in my mouth, but she kept pushing ignoring me saying "No please that hurts" She wanted to adjust them, which allowed them to go in but not without excruciating pain and pushing past my bone. The next morning I screamed as I put them in, the pain I felt immediately after extraction and having to take them in and out. The jump everytime I talk and move, I can't eat again and now have problems swallowing. The ulcers, redness, bone I have had crack off my jaw last night, crying in pain, the constant throbbing. I NEVER thought I'd feel this again. I thought the painful, hard part was over. Did I expect to be sore, yes but this type of pain, absolutely not. She prescribed me ibuprofen 800 which don't even get rid of my headache. She told me that unfortunately that's all that Aspen allows. Ummm. I've had 19, PLUS Tori and then another surgery for alveoloplasty. I have bone ripping through my gums. AGAIN The pain is radiating down my face and now when I take them out, the pain doesn't go away. I can't eat even with my gums now. If she thought I would not go home and research Aspen dentals guidelines, she was sadly mistaken. How about a doctors code of ethics? I have those memorized from being my dying mothers healthcare proxy and caregiver. A doctor's code of ethics is not something Aspen can overrule. I'm willing to guess Aspen knows this from reading their GUIDELINES. I have dealt with far to many doctors saying things that are untrue, regardless if its intentional or not. I would like to add that unlike Dr. Alexandra Zarifis Dr. Zhiqiang Huang and his staff, do everything to work with you through this process.
They have a great and well-knowledged team. Nina usually does my cleanings, and she’s always very nice and extremely professional. As great of a dentist experience as you can ask for.
