Went there for a broken crown, dentist wasn’t gentle, nor apologetic and frankly dismissive. Also, apparently he doesn’t know how to do a crown, because he has to have this other guy from Phoenix drive up here, literally have to wait an entire week.(kind of an emergency, you’d think they’d reference me to another one of their dozen clinics they have if they couldn’t do it.) Also, I was in an extreme amount of pain. All the Dentist prescribed be was antibiotics, acted like I was drug seeking, even though I asked for NON-NARCOTIC painkillers! (because I can’t go to work high on anything) On a GREAT note! The front office lady, (has shoulder length brown hair, and I think Hispanic, SHE was awesome! Totally nice and very professional; Actually, all the ladies were nice, one of them spoke about going to a church event (that’s totally not MY thing, but you do you girlfriend!!) and another had a surprise flower delivery from her bf, which I thought was very sweet! I only have a bone to pick with the Dentist Asmagano (sp?) Long story short, I live in a nice area and I’m surrounded by MD’s, someone actually prescribed me some non-narcotic painkillers because they saw the amount of pain I was in. (My face was even swollen for cry eye! (lol) Did some research on them as well, there were come current (less than 5 years ago) lawsuits, because of overcharging. Found out my crown is less than 2 years old, hopefully I’ll get my money back because they haven’t done anything yet but the X-Rays, and since I have my non-narcotic painkillers (lol) I can wait another week. Masking my irritation with comedy, can you tell??
0 stars if possible. I thought I was scheduling a cleaning. Even mentioned to the receptionist when I arrived that I was there for a cleaning. They don’t do cleanings the first visit. In fact they only take X-rays and photos of your teeth. The 2nd visit, would be for the hygienist to look at my teeth, a treatment plan be implemented and then they’d go over financing. That shocked me so much! Why is your company insinuating that I would have to finance it? They stated that I have like 4 or 5 cavities. I have never had more than 1 at any given appt let alone 4 or 5. Well the cleaning wouldn’t happen until visit number 3. And I wasn’t informed this until after 72 min of being in their office after I asked when they would do the cleaning. Previous dental appts are about an hour, X-rays, cleaning, dentist checks teeth. In and out. Yet this place has you for 90 min for the first appt and needs 3 appts to do what others do in 60 min. Not to mention, after I scheduled the appt, I received an obscene amount of texts, calls, and emails trying to confirm my appt and get me to update my insurance. I listed that I was self pay when I scheduled the appt. It’s just scary, and I guess y’all here are ok with this treatment given the many 5 star reviews. I’m so sorry for you. Update: It's been 3 business days since my appt. I have received 6 (YES 6) emails asking how my visit was or for a review. STOP! I don't understand why business expect you to give your phone number and email address and then think they own it. I don't have questions about my care plan because I didn't receive one! After reading my review, what makes you think that I would reach out to a team when I clearly expressed that I don't trust them?!? Healthcare is about trust. You lose it quickly and it takes a lot to get it back. There's no way I want your company caring for my baby toe let alone my teeth.
I can't recommend this establishment enough! I am in EXCRUCIATING pain from an impacted wisdom tooth sitting on my nerve with an abcess that has formed. It has effected everything on the left side of my face from my ear, jaw, and throat. I swear, giving birth to my two children didn't hurt as badly as this tooth pain 😩 I want to give a very special THANK YOU to Krystal, the operations manager, who was so thorough in explaining my options, working with my insurance and providing me the absolute best possible cost estimate while getting me in SAME DAY. Another thank you to the sweet dental assistant (I feel terrible I forgot her name but she owns a cute corgi dog-you know who you are ❤️) who was so gental while taking my xrays and also consoling me while I got a numbing shot. She definitely has a nurturing soul and is in the right field of work. Finally, another BIG thank you to Dr. Ngo who has such wonderful bedside manner. He was so kind, compassionate and truly cared when I called the office weeping in pain. On 10/30 I'll get the extraction surgery once these antibiotics do their magic ✨️. I look forward to never experiencing this again! At this point, even if another dental office could be more affordable, I wouldn't want to go anywhere else. This place is worth every penny. Thank you, truly, for helping me while in such dire need of care. You've found yourself a lifelong patient! See you next week 🙌
The Lake Havasu Aspen Dental goes above and beyond for patient care and satisfaction. Words cannot express how much I appreciate the staff here, they are truly genuine professionals! Always willing to listen and strive to make the patient as comfortable as possible. They also guarantee the procedures they perform, and gladly follow up to ensure satisfaction. The office is so welcoming and always clean as well. I will always choose Aspen Dental, they are a blessing! Thank you!
So far, working with this Aspen dental has been a good experience. My only comment would be to ask why, every time I've visited, the tech working on me has always been called away right in mid visit. I've been left waiting with work 1/2 done for at least a 1/2 hr. while they go work on someone else. They come back & 10min later, I'm done. It wasn't worth the wait when they could have finished me 1st & then moved on. Every visit this has happened. But I am happy with the work they do.
