Everyone that works here is so friendly. I was so nervous for my first appointment but Joce made me feel so comfortable and informed right away! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a dentist office!

DO NOT RECOMMEND! Never coming back! I had a terrible experience from beginning to end. The only good experience from this was being able to get a same day sick appointment. My hygienist made me feel very uncomfortable after joking about my poor dental health. I have severe anxiety about the dentist and haven’t gone because of this exact reason. I literally cried in the chair because I felt so awful about it. I was not able to receive my prescriptions until 36 hours later because the pharmacy didn’t understand the doctors instructions. When I called Asphen Dental to check on it before they closed. No one was answering the phones at 5pm even though they are open until 5:30pm. I left 2 voicemails and still had to call them back the next day. I was giving a quote for 4 wisdom teeth extractions (sedated) and some other treatments. They charged the full amount to my card even though I was told, I’ll be charged the day of the surgery and it will only be the 1 tooth. When I looked at my credit card statement it shows I was charged almost $4k the day I first went in. When I called about it they just put a credit onto my account, instead of refunding. THEY decided what to do with MY MONEY!?!?!?!?!!!!!!! By the way it will take 2 weeks for a refund. I also had to request a receipt of my own treatment because I’ve been told they will overcharge you. The day of surgery, it was very fast but I had no idea what was going on (and not because of the sedation). The only aftercare instructions I received were on a piece of paper. No one explained the recovery process. I was not prescribed any additional pain medication, like I was told I would. Thank you for making me feel judged, shamed, and treating me like a dollar sign!

Kind, Caring, and Affordable I recently moved to Rhode Island and lost my dental insurance this month. Last night, I had unbearable tooth pain — I couldn’t lie down or sleep. First thing this morning, I called Aspen Dental, and the receptionist immediately scheduled an appointment for me at the earliest available time and nearest location. Everyone I met was kind and professional. The front desk staff and the X-ray technician were both friendly and caring. The facility was clean, and I noticed they use modern dental technology that I hadn’t seen before. Dr. Choi saw me after my X-rays. He carefully examined my teeth and confirmed what my hometown dentist had said — that my teeth were actually fine. I was shocked because the pain felt unbearable and I thought something was seriously wrong. Dr. Choi patiently explained his findings and strongly recommended getting a second opinion before removing any teeth. He assured me there was no infection, so instead of antibiotics, he prescribed pain medication that I could pick up at the nearby CVS. He also pointed out one tooth that might need a crown in the future. The dental hygienist was very understanding and decided not to perform a routine cleaning since I was clearly in a lot of pain, and she didn’t want to make me more uncomfortable. I only paid $29 for the X-ray and exam, and the pain medication cost just $3. I truly appreciate Dr. Choi’s honesty and professionalism — he spent almost an hour with me and clearly cared more about my health than money. While my husband and I were waiting for my prescription, he went over everything with me and agreed with Dr. Choi — both dentists confirmed that my teeth are actually fine. However, I was still experiencing a lot of pain. My husband suggested that it might be nerve pain rather than tooth pain, possibly caused by the whitening toothpaste I had recently been using. My husband recommended use Sensodyne Repair & Protect (without whitening) we used before to cover my teeth. I bought it right away at CVS and used it there, and within just a few minutes, I started to feel some relief. After taking one pain killer, I was finally able to get a few hours of sleep. It’s now been about eight hours, and I’m already feeling normal — without needing a second painkiller. Once my insurance starts in early 2026, I plan to return for regular cleanings for my husband and me, and to get the crown that Dr. Choi recommended. I’m very grateful for the kindness and compassion I received at Aspen Dental, and I’ll gladly recommend them to others.
