Jared is an amazing hygienist. He made me feel comfortable and enlightened. Deacon also is a super star and Ms. Yolanda at consult is so understanding, caring and helpful. The remaining crew members are also welcoming and helpful. As a person who grew up with a true fear of the dentist I appreciate these people for their kindness, understanding and gentle approach. I also have to add they are kid friendly. I had to bring my 3 year old at the last minute and they treated him so nicely.
I had such a wonderful experience getting my cleaning with Dr. Sandy Basta in Sumter, SC. From start to finish, the entire visit was smooth, professional, and honestly one of the best dental appointments I’ve had. When I arrived, the front desk staff greeted me warmly and checked me in quickly. The office felt clean, organized, and comfortable, which immediately put me at ease. I was taken back on time, and the hygienist was incredibly gentle and thorough. She explained what she was doing throughout the cleaning and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. After my cleaning, Dr. Basta came in to do my exam. What I appreciated most was how attentive and personable she was. She didn’t just glance at my chart and move on — she took her time reviewing my X-rays with me, explained what she was seeing, and gave helpful tips on maintaining my oral health. I never felt rushed. She was calm, kind, and very knowledgeable, which made me feel confident that I was in good hands. The cleaning itself was thorough but gentle. My teeth felt amazing afterward — smooth, polished, and noticeably brighter. It’s clear that the team takes pride in preventative care and making sure patients leave feeling taken care of. Overall, this was such a positive experience. If you’re in the Sumter area and looking for a dentist who truly values patient comfort and quality care, I highly recommend Dr. Sandy Basta and her team. I’ll definitely be returning for my next cleaning!
highly unprofessional. I made an appointment. they sent a confirmation text that says click link to confirm appointment. I do. I get redirected to a page that says “thanks, your appointment is confirmed”. I get in today for my appointment. they said they called me 3x (my phone doesn’t ring me calls not in my contacts so i don’t get notified of missed calls.. my bad) she said since i did not call and give a verbal confirmation they cancelled my appointment. I told her they sent me a text and an email and i confirmed it both ways and it told me my appointment was confirmed. she said they needed insurance verbally. i told her my insurance was added already she said maybe i filled it out wrong. I told her that’s fine i expected to re-provide my info even tho i did it online thats normal. she said my appointment was cancelled bc i didn’t verbally confirm it after i confirmed it through the text message THEY SENT. i said ok they have a sign that says walk-ins welcome so i said I’ll just do a walk-in appointment. i don’t mind waiting. She said they will take walk ins after 1. how is it walk-in if i have to come back at a scheduled time. why would you send a confirmation link that says my appointment is confirmed if i needed to call and verbally confirm it. this was time wasted out of my morning for nothing. time i took off of work for this bs. i drove an hour to come to this appointment. if my appointment got cancelled they could have sent me a text or email that says we cancelled you appointment so i could’ve been made aware before i walked through the door. that’s just so unprofessional and i’m reaffirmed to the reason why ive never gone to aspen dental before
I was hesitant to try Aspen Dental based on some bad reviews. I am so glad I kept my appointment. Everything was a top notch experience. The staff are professional, thorough, extremely kind, friendly, and compassionate. With my insurance, I was pleasantl surprised at how reasonable everything was. The building and each area of service was spotless and very well maintained.
First time at the dentist in years and this was the perfect spot!! The whole crew from reception to everyone that makes the dentistry run are amazing at making you feel at home whether it’s your first time there or if you’re returning. Shoutout too their office manager, Yolanda, who even took time out her schedule to wait for me to get banking issues resolved to even pay for my visit. It’s very apparent that they take very well of their patients and keep them informed on their procedures. Most definitely recommend and will always return!!!
