Shay performed her duties both professionally and with a warm welcome. She directed me on when and how to care for my teeth, its working. She had so much patience with me while performing her duties. I felt so comfortable and not nervous being at the dentist because of her. She's The Best.

I recently had my wisdom teeth removed and had a very frustrating experience with both billing and consent. That said, I do want to acknowledge that the procedure itself went smoothly, and I appreciate the staff who worked directly on me during the surgery. When I initially scheduled the procedure, I was told I needed to put half down. Before my appointment, I was called and told I still had a remaining balance that needed to be paid. I questioned this because the remaining balance was significantly more than the total price I was originally quoted and had already paid in full. I asked for clarification on what insurance was covering and what the total cost actually was, but I did not receive a clear explanation. Anyways I really needed these teeth out so I paid. Once I was in the chair, the dental assistant told me to get comfortable because they were about to start the IV. I asked if an IV was required. She responded that they only give what the customer requested. I explained that I was never given a choice and that I did not want to be put to sleep. I told her I preferred local anesthesia, as I’ve had five teeth removed in the past with local anesthesia and had no issues. Her response was, “When you’re asleep you won’t feel anything anyway, and you already paid so we might as well do it.” That response was completely inappropriate. I clearly stated that I did not want IV sedation. It was not right for them to upsell my procedure without discussing options or obtaining my consent. Had I been asked, I would have declined IV sedation. When I later asked about a refund, I was told refunds are the automatic method when a patient overpays. However, to this day, I have not received a refund. Instead, the amount was placed as a credit on my account. (again🙄, without giving me a choice) Overall, I felt pressured, misinformed, and ignored in decisions that directly affected my body and my finances. Patients should be fully informed, given clear pricing, and most importantly, respected when it comes to consent.

Very caring,friendly and has amazing experience. I went in my mouth was messed up up and came out my mouth looked amazing I thank everyone there they worked together to make sure you comfortable The Doctor has miracle hands. Thanks again Aspen Dential 👍
