Would give 0 starts if I could. Please avoid at all costs. AVOID AT ALL COSTS, DIRTY SCAMMERS, THEY WILL TAKE YOUR TEETH AND YOUR MONEY! ABSOLUTE DISGUSTING. Dentist / owner "Doctor" Acone is a scammer who deserves to have his license taken away. Before even looking in my mouth he said I had a dental fracture and recommended a root canal and crown. I asked him if he saw the fracture on the XR they took and he said no but he can tell from my symptoms. His dental exam consisted only of banging around on my tooth for 10 seconds and looking at my tooth with a "special light" a pen light after which he said he visualized the fracture and confirmed that I would need a root canal and crown or having my tooth pulled. He said this was urgent and recommended treatment as soon as possible. He also prescribed antibiotics. I was in disbelief because I only had very mild tooth pain and only when biting down. No swelling, no. redness, no gum pain, no fever. I proceeded to the reception where they told me that they had availability for a root canal and crown a few days later but in order to get the appointment I had to pay up front. I made sure this was refundable before paying. The bill came out to about $7500 and $2800 out of pocket. I payed to get my appointment. After this experience I immediately got a second opinion from 3 different dentists. They were all in disbelief that such aggressive treatment (root canal vs tooth extraction) was recommended and that antibiotics were prescribed. They all told me not to take the antibiotics. None of them were able to visualize a fracture. The recommended treatment was to adjust my bite and replace the filling in my tooth, if that didn't work then possibly a crown. After replacing the filling (at another dental office) for $200 I am pain free. I am so happy that I didn't let these crooks take advantage of me, rob me thousands of dollars and my tooth. Please avoid Aspen dental at all costs. When the other dentist replaced my filling he repeated XR from multiple angles, did an extensive exam of my tooth, even used a dye to look for a crack / fracture after removing the old filling and was not able to find a fracture. Dr. Acone flat out lied about seeing a fracture in my tooth with his "special pen light". AVOID AT ALL COSTS, DIRTY SCAMMERS, THEY WILL TAKE YOUR TEETH AND YOUR MONEY! ABSOLUTE DISGUSTING.
I had a terrible dentist when I was young and they had me brush all the enamel off my teeth before I graduated high school. Over the years they cracked, broke, got infected, ect.. because of this I have very bad anxiety when I go to the dentist. This last visit I had a nurse? Assistant? Tech? Not sure what they are called now but my "nurse" was amazing. Her name was Grace and the way she spoke and joked with me caused me to completely forget about the anxiety and I didn't have to deal with it at all. It was the most pleasant dental visit I've had for years. I was almost disappointed when my appointment was over. They also worked with me and got the price down to a completely affordable price. If you have tooth issues I'd say stop in and see if they can help..
My latest experience at Aspen Dental is just about the same as my first experience there a decade ago....5 Stars without hesitation! Dr. Kevin Acone is someone I know I can trust to oversee the job getting done correctly and the price will be fair . More than that even, I get the feeling that he and his staff really do care, not only about outcomes, but about his patients as people. I feel comfortable there, and any work that is going to be done is explained to me in a way that puts me at ease. I highly recommend Aspen Dental.
Perfect dentist if you want a dentist that doesn’t provide any care. They lack dentists, and they lack dental hygienists. I’ve been waiting almost a year for some filling work. The original appointment was pushed out about 6 months due to a lack of dentists. Now the rescheduled appointment has been canceled as well due to lack of dentists. This would be funny if it wasn’t my health. Avoid at all cost if you actually want dental work done.
The cleaning was very good by the hygienist. I had a terrible time understanding him with his heavy accent. I was very disappointed leaving and tried to set up my next dental cleaning in 6 months which would be sometime in June. 2026. The office was already booking cleanings into October 2026. I said I can’t wait that long and wanted to set up something in June. The guy checking me out was very rude and short tempered and I just left. I called a few days late asking to have me put on a wait list in case someone cancels at any time and o could possibly her in.
