I'm from Idaho, so dentistry is different here. But this was the worst experience at a dentist of my life. I called with extreme tooth pain, a scheduler for Aspen said that they could make me the initial appointment, but that they would note that I was suffering, and that Aspen would likely be able to help me out same day. Went in, got there 30 minutes early. They brought me back and immediately wanted to do 19 x-rays. I declined, letting them know that my tooth pain was too severe to do a comprehensive x-ray set at the moment. The lady scolded me, telling me that they wouldn't be able to help anyway. I said that I could just leave? She said she wanted to x-ray the tooth that was hurting. Sure enough, I need a root canal. They take me back to an exam room. I'm crying from pain and frustration. There is a very loud TV in from of the exam chair. No off button. Same lady comes in as I try to explain my situation to the dentist. I was hoping he would at least do a nerve block. He did not. The lady stood over me and loudly repeated that they could not help me today. I told her that I understood that they could not, but I did not understand why she was being confrontational. She said that she wasn't. She def was. I got a referral for the oral surgery and left as quick as I could. Yuck. I'll never, ever go to any Aspen Dental again.
