Patient Reviews
Powered by GoogleIt was very easy to make an app, there was no consultation fee at the time, which was nice. The receptionist was very nice as well as the tech who assisted with my tooth extraction. She explained everything very thoroughly, as I was nervous. They had a dr. out at the time so it was a bit of a wait, but overall I would go there again for treatment.
My appt was at 9:30, the place was empty yet i didn't get seen until almost 10:30. And TBH I felt pressured, like a high powered sales pitch with not much being explained, There are no doors on the rooms or at least mine wasn't closed so everybody could hear my health history. To me that's a violation of HPPA. The screen that had my Xrays was so small I couldn't see anything and my diagnosis was made by an AI program. I ended up canx my surgery appts and getting a 2nd opinion elsewhere.
This was my first time going to Aspen Dental. Was immediately greeted by the receptionist who got the sign in process started. I did wait a few minutes but once I got called back it was quick and easy. They were able to fix what I needed to be fixed and I was able to pick it up later in the day. Great first impression, fair prices for a walk in with no insurance!
The ability to get on the schedule as a new patient was good. I did not like having to schedule 2 separate days, one to evaluate and another day just for a cleaning. That required more time off from work ( time out of school for child). I thought that could be better coordinated. The hygienist for the follow up cleaning, Natalie, was awesome, thorough and very professional. Had a great experience. Had to schedule yet another day for cavity care. Haven't done that yet.
Great service from the medical staff, terrible communication overall from the rest. I got sent here from the glen burnie location because the oral surgeon was at this location. I never received a care packet, I had to call the billing line to get an excuse note for work because the front desk didn't answer, they didn't seem to know what standard recovery time for my operation was. I told them to excuse me until Thursday, giving me a 3 day recovery period after the day of my operation. The email I received said I was clear to return to work on Wednesday. I emailed back requesting the change and they never returned my email, then they closed early. I was on my way to pick up my car and figured I'd just go in and ask for a note with the proper dates. They just didn't listen to me at all and once I left after the operation seemed to stop caring altogether. It was a sharp contrast to the communication I received from the Glen Burnie location so l be going there whenever possible over this location.
