First off, 5 stars for Justice. He was quick, professional, and organized. Also props to him for being a slightly optimistic Miami heat fan. The reason for my 2 star review, however, is because of the wait times. I showed up early, completed my paperwork and such prior to my appointment, etc.. Over 30 minutes elapsed from the time my appointment “started” to the time I was brought back by the tech to start x-rays and such. Once all that was done, I was taken back and waited like another 20 minutes for the dentist to come back and look at my teeth for like 3 minutes. Not knocking him for being quick (I’m sure he’s very skilled and experienced), but he was pretty short and emotionless lol. Anyhoo, the appointment ended and I had to wait another 20 minutes to talk with someone to check out and get quotes for fillings and schedule a cleaning. Their next cleaning available was 9 months out, so I scheduled it 🤷♂️. But overall everyone was fairly friendly, so that makes up for a lot
David was absolutely the best!! I LOATHE the dentist and while doing those horrible xrays that usually hurt and they just stick them in any which way .... David did not he found different ways different pieces and things to add to help the comfort! This is a big deal for me and he was just GREAT. The rest of the staff here were as well very friendly the Dr was great and very helpful and walked me through everything even the hygienist (who was working here to help out so not her borm place) did I felt like I left knowing everything that I needed to know and I felt comfortable. The lady who deals with the appointments and setting things up was great just all around great experience
Update: I really appreciate that Aspen dental took my review to heart. I just received a call saying they had fixed their billing error and confirmed my rescheduled appointment. I’m changing my review to reflect their dedication to customer service. I had an appointment scheduled today that was unfortunately canceled due to a mix-up with their confirmation system. They require verbal confirmation and left me a message, so I called back and followed the automated prompt to confirm, and it said I was all set. Apparently, that system doesn’t actually work. The receptionist was very kind and helpful, but the office really needs to fix this issue. It’s frustrating to take the time to come in only to find out the appointment was canceled. I was also charged for X-rays after being told there wouldn’t be a charge, which added to the frustration. The office itself also looks a bit run down and could use some updates. Overall, the staff is friendly, but there seem to be some communication, system, and maintenance issues that need improvement.
This office is quick, kind, and efficient! I have a lot of anxiety around dental offices but Dr. Arena put me right at ease with his communication and intelligence. He answered all my questions, and the ones I couldn’t remember till later, the person at the end answered all my questions
Have been going here for years, overall experience okay, but feeling a little bitter they have cancelled my dental appointments several times without any apologies or calls in hope to reschedule. Rescheduling usually takes an added couple of months and they don't seem to care. Don't feel like a valued member.
