I’m highly disappointed in the way I was treated at this location. I previously had a root canal done here back in March, and at that time, they did a great job. However, for my other cavities, they simply covered them instead of giving me the option to decide how I wanted to proceed. When I returned because one of those fillings started hurting, I was told I now needed a root canal which made me feel like they’re more focused on recommending expensive treatments rather than helping patients make informed decisions. I scheduled the root canal but had to reschedule due to travel, and I called ahead to do so. Despite that, I was told I’d be charged a $50 “no-show” fee, which didn’t make sense since I called in advance. I later found out that they had made their own appointment for me without my confirmation, even though I was out of town at the time. When I called again recently because I was in pain, I was told I had a $200 balance for a “broken appointment.” I was never informed of this charge by email, phone, or mail. When I mentioned that it felt unprofessional not to be notified, the staff member responded in a dismissive tone, repeatedly saying it was all stated in the contract I signed as a first-time patient instead of taking the time to explain or show any understanding. I’ve never experienced this kind of poor communication or lack of empathy from a dental office before. Patients deserve to be clearly informed about charges and treated with respect, especially when they’re reaching out in pain. I truly hope this office improves its communication and professionalism moving forward.
