For over 35 years, Associated Oral & Implant Surgeons (AOIS), has been providing the highest quality care to our patients, providing a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise ranging from corrective jaw surgery to wisdom tooth removal. We also perform a full range of dental implant and bone grafting procedures including lower and upper full-arch replacement. Our mission is to deliver the finest care to the citizens of east Tennessee, southwest Virginia and western North Carolina and we continuously pursue our vision to be recognized as the most trusted provider of such services to our patients and community. Our team of surgeons include Carl Eilers, DDS, Michael Hamlin, DDS, Jason Pickup, DMD, Michael Foster, DMD, MPH and Nathaniel Wells, DMD and the team prides themselves in creating a workplace that works hard, has fun, and serves our clients with exceptional quality every day. A staff or some of the friendliest staff I've ever dealt with. Very kind and understanding and explaining everything very well and made sure I was very comfortable before during and after the surgery. Was in and out in under 2 hours. Been home for several hours with very mild pain and no long-lasting effects from the anesthesia. This place is highly recommended.
Dr. Eilers and his staff were great through the whole process of wisdom tooth removal. It was very quick and painless, I stayed informed the entire time, and the whole team helped ease any anxiety. 10/10, would recommend to anyone in the Tri-Cities
Excellent care by professional staff beginning at the front desk. Dr Eilers is caring, completely explained all aspects of my procedure, meeting with my husband following my extraction to check on me as well as, answer any questions. Every staff member greeted us with a smile, were respectful, as the patient I recommend this office. You will be so pleased.
So the idea of having a tooth extracted is never pleasant - so to say my visit was enjoyable would be a lie. But the good people at AOIS know how to make the best of a rather unpleasant situation. Courtesy, professionalism, understanding, and really talented in their task, showing real empathy- from the front desk, to the oral surgeons all were great. Hope I don’t have visit these folks often, but if another situation arises, this would be my go to choice!
I had my wisdom teeth taken out here and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Everyone is wonderful including the front desk staff. Dr. Wells and Taylor are fantastic at putting you at ease, and the woman who put in my iv(I didn't catch her name) was amazing. I was super nervous about the iv due to negative past experiences but she took her time and got it on the first try, which I'm so grateful for.
