Today was my second appointment with Dr. Hamlin and I have to say he is one of the nicest dentists I have ever had. I like it that even though you there on serious business you can still cut up and have fun. It's especially fun to pit him against his assistant, he fell right in with the joking around and instigated some. He extracted 2 teeth for me today, its been 10 hours and 1 Tylenol and there us no discomfort.
If I could change this to zero stars I would. My first review was glowing. After surgery day, I will never go to this office again. I was very impressed on our first visit. Everyone was so nice and helpful. Upon arriving for surgery, everyone was very short and unfriendly. They came to get my son, and we got up to go back with him, assuming we would get to be with him until surgery started. They told us "no, we just need him, we'll come get you after it's over". No one told us if he was being prepped or if we could see him before surgery. He was terrified and they were not helpful or friendly. When they came to call us back to recovery, they Didn’t care that we were his parents, they were more concerned about his “ride“. In recovery, I asked the nurses about how things went, and how he reacted to the iv, which I was told they didn’t know. None of the recovery nurses had been back in surgery, or had any information on the surgery. I have never felt less informed and more liked. They were just trying to get me in and out. It was quick, less than an hour for everything. I still wouldn’t go back ever.
This was by far the best dental appointment I've ever had. On Tuesday, I had my consult for removal of 2 wisdom teeth. On Wednesday, the surgery was completed. Almost no pain whatsoever. I would recommend this practice for any dental surgery needs. Dr. Dowling is fantastic!!
Very friendly staff. Had front tooth removed and implant done at same time. Painless procedure. Dr Hamlin’s personality put me at ease from the first appointment. I would recommend him and his staff to anyone who needs an implant. Cost was less than other places I had checked with as well. They billed my insurance for their part and I paid cash for the balance the day of the procedure.
All of the associates were polite and respectful. I was fortunate to receive an appointment and have my procedure / problem taken care of quickly. Following after care instructions. Can you ever get enough ice-cream and jello?! So far so good!! Thank you Dr. Dowling and Nurses!
