I recently visited the Dental Group of Baltimore City and was really impressed. The front desk was warm and welcoming. The office itself is very modern and clearly up to date with the latest equipment. Everything from the imaging to the exam tools felt efficient, clean, and high-tech, which made the whole appointment smoother and more comfortable. The providers were excellent — very knowledgeable, clear in their explanations, and attentive. We discussed my concerns, developed a treatment plan, and even started the first steps during the same visit, which I really appreciated. Overall, it’s a friendly, professional office with skilled clinicians and top-notch technology. I’d definitely recommend them for quality dental care.

Big shoutout to this amazing dental office! I had a tooth extraction with Dr. Park, and he made the anesthesia and the entire procedure very comfortable and stress-free. The dental assistant, Sumanth, was fantastic — he was so reassuring throughout the treatment and did an excellent job explaining the post-operative care clearly. I had a really good and excellent experience here. The team followed exceptional standards of care at every single step. I highly recommend this office to everyone!

’ve been to this office 3–4 times over the past year — twice for routine cleanings and twice for sealants and a cavity restoration. Overall, my experience has been mostly positive, with one significant exception that I feel obligated to share. First, the facility itself is clean, modern, and conveniently located. It looks and feels like a professional dental practice, which is always reassuring. The hygienists are friendly and generally competent. That said, consistency seems to vary. Some appointments felt thorough and careful, while others felt rushed. Even something as simple as flossing ranged from very gentle to quite uncomfortable. Greater consistency among staff would help build patient confidence. The dentists are relatively new and clearly working hard to meet expectations. On a personal level, I’ve felt comfortable with them and can tell they’re trying to run a good practice and treat patients well. I respect that. Unfortunately, I had an experience during a filling yesterday that caused me to lose trust in the office’s reliability. During the procedure, etch solution (37% phosphoric acid used to prepare enamel for bonding) came into contact with my lip and caused what appears to be a small chemical burn. Initially, I was told it was “probably just a cut,” but when I insisted something felt wrong, they irrigated the area with water, wiped it with gauze, and applied petroleum jelly. What concerned me most was not just that it happened, but the response. When I asked what to do if it worsened, I was told it might be an allergic reaction. The dentist even placed the etch solution on her own hand as if testing for a reaction. That was confusing and honestly alarming. This material is a strong acid designed to create microporosities in enamel for bonding — it should not come into contact with soft tissue. When I got home and researched the solution myself, I became more concerned and decided to formally write the office asking them to document the incident in my chart and communicate it to staff. To their credit, they responded and said they noted it and issued a warning to other dentists. However, that response also left me wondering why this wouldn’t already be well understood protocol. I am not saying “don’t go here.” Much of my care has been positive. But patients deserve transparency, consistency, and confidence that basic safety standards are second nature — not reactive. Baltimore needs excellent dental care. Whether an office is busy or not, the standard should remain high. I hope the practice empowers its staff with the time, training, and support they need to prevent incidents like this in the future. Accountability and improvement matter — for both patients and the business itself.

Prior to coming to Baltimore City Dental Group, I hadn't been to the dentist in almost 10 years. (gross, I know) I had a lot of dental anxiety from bad experiences when I was younger, and when I moved from Pennsylvania to Maryland in 2017, finding a dentist was unfortunately really low on my priority list. That combined with depression and not prioritizing my dental hygiene led to me needing a TON of dental work. My brother recommended me Baltimore City Dental Group as he'd recently come here. Dr. Zoe is the sweetest and definitely helped to calm my fears on my first visit, getting me set up with a treatment plan to help fix these issues. The hygienist, Vladimir, was also very kind, taking time to show me a before and after my cleaning to help educate me (and definitely not in a judgemental way, if that's something you worry about) so I can better take care of my dental health in the future. I had several root canals done by Dr. Abby and Dr. Park, both extremely lovely dentists who took their time to make sure I was comfortable, and my crown prep done by Dr. Zoe after. The girls at the front desk, D'Asiah and Brenda, as well as the office manager, are also always lovely! TLDR; The whole practice is kind, caring, and non-judgemental, although they obviously do not sugar coat things. If you're someone like me that has bad dental anxiety or has been afraid to go to the dentist for fear of judgement, this is definitely the practice for you! I look forward to continuing bettering my dental health with them and plan to remain a patient for years to come! :^)

What a great experience, especially considering how stressful dental procedures can be. The office is clean and efficient, front desk staff were super friendly and helpful, but Dr. Zoe and Jumanah were the highlight. My concerns were their priority and they did an amazing job and got so much done in a single appointment. Best dentist. Top notch all around.
