I've been a client of Benusis Dental for 35 years, so likely a cumulative 70 visits or so. I have ALWAYS, in every conceivable way, found them to be polite, professional, and above all, competent. My parents initially brought me to see Ken Benusis as a child when another dentist recommended a major procedure in a baby tooth that turned out to be completely unnecessary. I've never looked back. As someone with a technical background, I've come to appreciate how knowledgeable Ken is. His practice is about factual and scientific approaches to dental care, not some upsell for a new tooth whitener, etc. The folks who claim they have had a bad experience have a right to their opinion, but either I've been exceptionally lucky in the 70 visits I've had or the negative reviewers represent a very, very small minority. I've recommended members of my family of all ages go to Benusis Dental, and am DEEPLY grateful for the care I've received throughout the years past and hopefully many decades to come.
My husband and I ended up at Benusis Dental because Dr Jay is one of the few dentists in network for our insurance, but we are really glad we found him! He is efficient and quick but still thorough, he doesn't try to talk us into unnecessary work, and is very friendly. I have been in the office when Dr Ken is interacting with patients and he seems very kind, and the office staff are very pleasant as well.
We took our son to Ken Benusis for many years. We think he is an excellent dentist. He is very good with kids. He explains very well so the kids know what to expect (and the parents as well). He is careful and thorough. The rates were very reasonable and the front office has been very nice. Our family gives his practice a strong recommendation.
Moved to Rapid a year ago and was recommended to Benusis. They have been wonderful to my wife and me and our three kids. Very friendly staff and amazing with the kids. They even helped fix a problem with my daughters tooth that previous dentist had screwed up. Highly recommend for anyone.
When our 3 year old needed a filling, another dentist wanted to put her under, so we sought a second opinion at Benusis Dental. Dr. Jay was fantastic: calm, patient, and knowledgeable about other options. He was able to do the filling safely and quickly without putting her under. She had a great first experience with dental procedures (she especially liked the elephant-shaped mask), and I highly recommend their services.
