Was told over the phone that there wouldnt be an availability to get my teeth removed the same day, went and got checked out and the doc said they could have my teeth out in 10 mins. Told them right away lets take them out. Took literally 10 mins with numbing and all. Best experience ive ever had and it was my wisdom teeth.
I had appt for cleaning and Xrays. I was told I had a cavity under a porcelain crown and the crown would have to be replaced and an additional cost for core buildup. Total cost over $1400. I was planning a trip to Idaho to visit my brother who is a retired dentist. When I told him about this planned dental procedure, he said it was completely ridiculous and to cancel my appt. I just completed my procedure in Idaho which required only a minor filling , about a 20 minute appt at a cost of $260!! Dr. Cardoso either is seriously lacking in knowledge or has a complete disregard for honesty and integrity!! Nothing but a scam. I will obviously be changing dentists!! People like him give a bad name to the whole industry. I trusted him and if I hadn't been fortunate enough to have a knowledgeable brother, I would never have known that the procedure he planned for me was totally unnecessary!! Avoid this office like the plague!!
Receptionist was friendly and helpful. Hygienist very gentle and thorough as well. She was excellent at explaining everything she did. I enjoyed meeting Dr. Cardoso since this was my intro visit.
From wisdom teeth, cavities, and cleanings Black Canyon Dental has taken care of our family very well. They are great with my kids and extremely knowledgeable about dental concerns and insurance. I highly recommend them.
My family recently transferred to Black Canyon Dental. Anna was helpful during the transition process, ensuring the records were properly transferred, the new patient forms were submitted in time, and eased my mind that there would be no “up selling” of any kind. My 14 and 12 year old historically have had anxiety around dentist appointments. I believe that’s in the past! The moment we left BCD after their first visit, they both enthusiastically shared their experiences and what a relief! I called to say thank you before leaving the parking lot.
