Not sure about the prior reviews that came in low, but Black Hills Oral Surgery was amazing in every way! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly and everyone was so kind and friendly. Considering I was there to have a wisdom tooth removed, I was a tad nervous and the whole experience was amazing from start to finish. The staff and Dr. Crossland were extremely friendly and put me at ease from the start. I would highly recommend BHOS!

I got my wisdom teeth out here and the ladies were very lovely and walked me through everything. They even asked if I had a music request! The front desk was very sweet as well. 1 million /10 experience. 👍

My 86 year old mother needed oral surgery. Although the procedure went fine, the cost which they said they could not provide beforehand, was quite high compared to other practices in the Black Hills. Also, if you’re looking for a warm welcoming environment; this isn’t it. The woman at the front desk doesn’t greet you or speak to you. Very off putting. We will go to Rapid should we need the services of an oral surgeon in the future.

I had all four of my wisdom teeth pulled here and it was a very pleasant experience. They got the job done super fast! My healing went by quick and the pain went away after the second day.

DO NOT GO HERE! WAY OVERPRICED! This place is ridiculously expensive. The average cost for wisdom teeth removal on the high end is 600 a tooth. I got all 4 removed and had a pain injection which is an added 200 so I was expecting around 2600. With insurance I only have to pay half, so around 1300. They made me put 900 dollars down. Once insurance was billed they sent me another bill for 1700 dollars. So in total out of pocket cost was 2600! It was just insane! The total bill was 3400! Which is an insane amount. Do not go here. It is overpriced and reception was difficult to work with. I wish I had just found somewhere in Rapid City.
