My experience extracting my wisdom teeth was better than I expected. Dr. Kitamura and his assistants did an excellent job. They took their time and made sure I was comfortable during the entire procedure.
Excellent experience from beginning to last appointment. Easy to request info and make appointment online. Appreciate text reminders. ALL staff are kind, caring, and easy to communicate with. I didn't feel like I was being rushed. I was asked multiple times if I had questions and when I did, they were all answered. Appreciate that Dr. Kitamura is confident in himself and his staff. The actual implant procedure was so fast and nearly pain-free. The whole experience took ONLY 3 appointments (initial consultation, actual procedure, and follow-up)!!! I would recommend Oral Surgery Hawaii for anyone needing an implant. They also offered payment plans if needed. Clean professional facility and modern high-quality equipment. Copies of all information were gladly provided upon request, even the 3-D image of my new implant. Convenient Pearlridge location for those who live on the Leeward side.
Dr. Kitamura and his staff were so friendly and made me feel very comfortable!! I was pretty nervous to get my wisdom tooth pulled but the procedure was quick and everything turned out fine. Love this dentist, i’ll most likely go here from now on.
Dr.Kitamura was so great. He worked on both of my parents’ implants and was a joy to work with. He is skilled, and made them feel at ease. Compared to what other surgeons were treatment planning for them, his treatment plan was straightforward and it didn’t feel like he was trying to rip them off. He is compassionate and we highly recommend him as a doctor. Can’t say enough great things about him and out experience at his office. Thanks Dr.Kitamura.
Dr. Kitamura and his staff have been nothing but wonderful throughout this whole process. They put me at ease the day of my wisdom teeth removal. If at any time I felt any pain or discomfort, I would raise my left hand. They'd stop, ask me what I'm feeling, evaluate, and fix the problem. It's very important to have a doctor that listens to their patients and doesn't disregard their concerns and Dr. Kitamura does just that. About 3 days post-op, I had excruciating pain on one side. After 5 days post-op, I finally caved and called the number on my discharge instructions. They fit me in within that same hour to see what was causing the pain. It turned out to be a partial dry socket. Dr. Kitamura and his assistant Michelle were very quick to get me taken care of and explained everything to me. That evening I barely had any more pain, it was such a relief. I would highly recommend them to everyone on island!
