Unacceptable Pain Management and Poor Post-Operative Support I recently had an extraction procedure at this practice and experienced several serious concerns with my care: Informed Consent: I was not adequately informed about potential complications, risks, or alternatives before the procedure. Unacceptable Pain Management: This is my most serious concern and falls well below the expected standard of care. When I returned the same day with a complication requiring sutures, I explicitly told the doctor I was not numb. Despite this clear statement, he proceeded to suture without administering any anesthesia. This caused severe, unnecessary pain that could have been entirely prevented. Performing a painful procedure on a patient who has clearly stated they are not numb is simply unacceptable. Inadequate After-Hours Support: When I needed urgent help following the procedure, I waited over five hours for any response. The doctor was traveling internationally and instructed me via text to wait until the next business day. No adequate emergency coverage was in place. Delayed Records Access: Despite multiple requests beginning in mid-September, obtaining my complete medical records was unnecessarily delayed. While complications can occur with any procedure, how they are managed matters enormously. Proceeding with a painful intervention on a patient who explicitly states they lack anesthesia is below any acceptable standard of care. Combined with poor emergency support and communication gaps, I cannot recommend this practice.

After my son had surgery with another oral surgeon in Northern Colorado, we were highly disappointed. We called Blue Sky for another assessment and they took us in like family, told us the blunt truth, and handled my son's situation with amazing care. Unfortunately my son had to endure the SAME surgery twice but this time, Blue Sky did it RIGHT! We are so thankful for this clinic in NoCo. They have also provided care to a few other family members as well with the same level of care. Thank you Blue Sky!

I don't know how this place has any one star reviews. I've read them and they all seem like spoiled humans acting like the dentist is supposed to be this comfy place to do fun things. Honestly just a matter of the right head space. It needs to be done and relaxe because there is nothing else you can do except to do what your told and get through it. Anyways i had one of the best surgeries I've ever had. It started out with the surgery delayed 30mins. I had a phone so I was entertained very well. The receptionist apologized over the wait amazing service to recognize inconvenience. She great. I then went in the room to wait a lady with a semi thick accent prepared me for surgery. They explained and explained over and over very in depth. I was on nitrous oxide which relaxed me completely. Therer was a kid in school learning which was amazing because I got to listen to the banter of education and insight of my extraction and implant. It took 1hr 11min total because the surgeon was thorough throughout making sure everything was out utilizing xrays. He was a beautiful wonderful man he would notice my panic and kept reminding me of my breathing through my mouth so he would reminded me of breathing through my nose for nitrous oxide. It was extremely comforting. His team was ready for everything literally nothing was confusing. He has it tuned in as a professional. Afterwards he was a busy man which I understand but he's very respectful and very accommodating. Utilizing sponges so I done choke on fluids amongst other things. Also very affordable after looking at prices they are the best options for being reasonable and literally not cutting corners and making everything abomination on everything. I highly recommend. As for the one stars read them you can tell they are stupid and entitled and clearly never suffer enough to know a good thing even if it was in there mouth. I had a great experience and I will recommend blue sky to everyone i talk to thanks team blue sky!!!!!

I was terrified to get my wisdom teeth removed, especially over the age of 30, but I had the best experience here. The office staff completely relieved my fears, and Dr. Thurgood did such a great job. My surgery was Friday, and by Saturday morning, I wasn't in any pain and didn't even need to take painkillers. I am very happy with how everything went. Thank you 😊

Wisdom Teeth Extraction I went to Blue Sky for my wisdom teeth surgery and I couldn't have asked for a better experience or team to serve me. I am 30 years old and have put this off for over a decade due to tons of fears, but Dr. Thurgood and his team put my mind at ease and made me feel so comfortable. Dr. Thurgood took his time during my consultation to thoroughly look through my scans and answer my many questions & I really appreciated him making me and my concerns a priority. He has the best team around him that make their patients feel loved and cared for. My procedure was very smooth, and I'm now on day 5 post op and healing very well with almost no pain. I hate that I put this off for so long, but it was worth the wait for this team. This has been a wonderful experience and I will recommend Blue Sky to everyone I know! :)
