I had not been to the dentist in a very long time and I am scared of dentist. Just the thought of going to the dentist gets me anxious. I developed a toothache on a late Thursday night and when a got up on Friday morning I had things that had to be completed before I started to get a dentist. I finally got ahold of an office that was still open but they were with their last patient. The lady I spoke with suggested I call my PCP to get some antibiotics. I did get in to see my PCP and he gave me an antibiotic and told me I could take Ibuprofen and acetaminophen, switching them up each time. My PCP also recommend Dr. Brogan Lopez as a good dentist that was good with scaredy-cats (which I am). I called on Friday afternoon and left a message with Dr. Brogan’s office and they called me back early Monday morning. The antibiotic I was on had made the toothache bearable and so I set up an appointment for Tuesday afternoon. I completed all the necessary paperwork via the internet and texting. Tuesday afternoon came an I arrived for my appointment and was checked in with no problem and was collected by a very nice lady. I was escorted to a room and had X-rays done and then spoke with the Dr. Brogan. He laid out a couple of options and we agreed on a plan of action. All the time he was speaking to me he was trying to calm me down as I was extremely nervous. He pulled the offending tooth and I never felt anything. He had deadened my mouth so well. Saying this is just to let you know how wonderful Dr. Brogan Lopez and his staff were to me and how comfortable and supportive they were and I felt like they really cared and understood my anxiety and did everything to help me comfortable. I highly recommend Dr. Brogan and his staff. Professional, Knowledgeable, and Highly Qualified. I am actually looking forward to my next appointment and getting all my teeth taken care of and getting my smile back.
