I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Tokar and his entire team. I came to Dr. Tokar after stopping treatment with a previous oral surgeon midway through the process. I felt unheard, uninformed, and extremely anxious about something that was already incredibly scary and deeply tied to my self-confidence. From the very first appointment, Dr. Tokar was completely different. He took the time to truly listen, educate me on my options, and walk me through the entire process from start to finish. He never rushed me, never dismissed my concerns, and always made sure I felt comfortable and informed. That alone made a world of difference. Dr. Tokar performed both bone grafting and implant surgery for my two front teeth. I chose to stay awake during the procedure, and the entire experience went incredibly smoothly. He and his staff continuously checked on me to make sure I was comfortable and pain-free. What truly set him apart was the personal care afterward, Dr. Tokar personally called me the night of my surgery to check in and make sure I was feeling okay. That level of compassion and dedication is rare. Dr. Tokar gave me my smile back, and I will forever be grateful. If you’re looking for an oral surgeon who is not only exceptionally skilled but also kind, patient, and genuinely invested in your well-being, I cannot recommend him highly enough. 10/10.

I had an exceptional experience with Dr. Tokar. It is rare to find a surgeon who balances such high-level expertise with genuine kindness. Dr. Tokar is clearly evidence-based in his approach; he took the time to explain the science and data behind his recommendations, which gave me complete confidence in the procedure. He is extremely knowledgeable but never dismissive. He was very aware of my comfort level throughout the entire visit and treated me with great patience and care. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a surgeon who stays on the cutting edge of the field while remaining compassionate.

wonderful dental staff, they made me feel extremely safe and the procedure went well. the clerical staff leaves A LOT to be desired. demanded payment as i’m half out of my mind, still coming down from anesthesia. if you need payment the day of, do so before the procedure, while i’m lucid!!! still have not received antibiotics/pain management for my wisdom teeth extraction.

I came here to get all 4 of my wisdom teeth extracted. One thing to note upfront they charge out-of-pocket for X-rays, so I had to go through my insurance and get it done somewhere else, which delayed the process. I also booked my appointment a month in advance to accommodate my work schedule, but a week before, they told me Dr. Romsa would be unavailable on my scheduled date. They offered to put me on a waitlist or pushed me out three more weeks. Thankfully, after speaking more with the receptionist, she helped me find an earlier appointment, which I appreciated. Another thing: they didn’t tell me that my insurance covered everything until I called them myself. That’s definitely something they should let patients know ahead of time. Besides those bumps, the procedure itself went smoothly. I opted for local anesthesia, and it was quick around 45 minutes to an hour with no pain during the extraction. Aftercare-wise, they give you one reusable ice pack, but no facial wrap or syringe for cleaning the area. I’d recommend buying those separately on Amazon if you want to be fully prepared. The nurses were really nice and helpful. They walked me through the aftercare instructions thoroughly, which I appreciated. Overall, aside from the scheduling and insurance issues, the experience was good and the staff was kind.

Doctors are helpful and good at explaining but the wait times are extremely long. You aren’t allowed to show up late, but you will be made to wait up to hours to be seen. Wish they gave better notice if they were running behind
