I was referred to Dr.Powell by my dentist. Being away from Tuscaloosa for an extended period of time I was not familiar with the name of the provider nor his practice. I must say I was experiencing hesitation but I’m glad I didn’t let fear win. Dr. Powell and his staff was AMAZING!! If you ever want a painless experience run don’t walk to Brookwood Endodontics. If I ever need another root canal Dr. Powell will be my first choice. Thanks for a painless visit.
Dr. Adam Powell and staff were very friendly and compassionate. Dr. Powell explained what he was doing from start to finish on my Root Canal procedure. I felt comfortable and at ease. I had to drive an hour and half to the office but it was worth the drive. Wonderful experience.
Very good service, for a root canal!! Dr Powell so nice, and made me feel comfortable, because I will never feel that comfortable in any one’s chair getting shots in my mouth. The experience was not bad at all. No pain, everything good. Also the sweet nurse, bless her heart, she was patting my shoulder, I appreciated that so much.

Highly recommend!! Dr Powell is very personable, takes his time, practices patient centered care rather than template care. Hard to find providers who don’t just treat you as a number and invalidate your experiences. He is not afraid to tell you if he is unsure of something but rest assured, he will do a detailed diagnostic of all issues of which you are referred. He presents very educated and does not over or under treat. He seemed like he truly cared for me as a patient and that meant a great deal to me. Dr Powell, Beth (office manager) and Tia, were very compassionate and made me feel very comfortable while under their care.
