I cannot say enough good things about Canyon Oral Surgery and Dr. Mooney. I went into my appointment extremely anxious. I had already cried three times before even sitting in the chair. From the moment I arrived, the team was kind, patient, and completely understanding. Dr. Mooney thoroughly explained the entire procedure in a way that made me feel informed and reassured. Once we began, I was given nitrous and IV medications, and I was honestly amazed at how quickly I felt relaxed and comfortable. The next thing I knew, it was over. I was sent home with clear instructions and prescriptions for post-op care. To be completely honest, it almost feels like I didn’t even have anything done. My swelling has been very minimal, and I was able to resume almost normal activities the very next day (while still carefully following all healing instructions). I feel wonderful. If you’re nervous about oral surgery, this is absolutely the place to go. Dr. Mooney and the entire team made what I thought would be a terrible experience into something smooth, calm, and surprisingly easy. I’m so grateful for their care.
Amazing experience! I came here on a referral to have my wisdom teeth removed after one became infected. Everyone was incredibly kind and friendly. I met with Doctor Yau who said he would be performing the surgery. He went over everything and what I can expect tomorrow, etc. I was able to have surgery the very next morning. The procedure went smoothly, and now a little over two weeks later, I’m recovering wonderfully. I highly recommend this place! Very professional staff, a clean office, and amazing doctors who truly know what they’re doing.

I am a current patient and have had two implant procedures at Canyon Oral &Facial Surgery. I’m satisfied and impressed with my entire experience with Dr Falk and his team. The offices are clean , welcoming and run efficiently. Dr. Falk was incredibly professional, compassionate and thorough. He explained every step of the procedure clearly and answered all my questions with patience. The surgery itself went smoothly and my recovery has been better than expected . I truly appreciate the attention to detail and the genuine concern for my well being . They take good care of their patients and try to help in every way possible .
I was referred here by my dentist and when I called, they were able to get me an appointment the next morning for my wisdom teeth removal. This was great! The lady on the phone was extremely nice and knowledgeable. She said someone would call me later in the day to give me my quote from insurance. I don’t receive a phone call until after 4pm (I originally called around 10am) and the lady was complaining about my insurance company stating they were very difficult to deal with. This was so unprofessional! Your insurance worker should not be complaining to your clients about their insurance company. Since my insurance needed a pre-op authorization, my surgery was canceled and we scheduled a consultation, which was not available until 6 weeks later. The lady who called me regarding my insurance also said she would call me if there were consultation appointments that had opened up, I had told her from the beginning I only wanted to go to the Summerlin or Centennial location and I told her my availability. Once she called for a consultation appointment at the Henderson location and another time for a day and time I was not available, both things I originally stated. I waited a couple of weeks to see if there would be a cancellation at a location with a date and time I could make, there was not. I originally gave a $200 deposit for my surgery. I called to request the deposit and to cancel my consultation, and they gave it back no problem. Then three days before the appointment I had already called and canceled, I get a reminder message for my appointment! I called and left a voicemail (during their lunch break hour) requesting to cancel my appointment, once again. Imagine my surprise when 24 hours before my appointment, I get another reminder message! I had already called twice to cancel. I call 5 minutes after the reminder message is sent and the lady I spoke to during my THIRD time calling to cancel had told me it had been canceled but the appointment reminders hadn’t been stopped. How does that make any sense? Between the unprofessional insurance lady and the difficulty I experienced with canceling my appointment, I feel I really dodged a bullet by not having my surgery done here.
