Dr. Travis is wonderful. The front office staff us a different story. Rude is to kind a word to describe one person. Made to feel as though it was a bother for her to assist, that her administration mistakes were my fault. Decided not to give them my business any longer

Dr. Shore and the dental staff provide excellent clinical care, and I’ve been pleased with the quality of the dental work over the past two years. However, the billing practices have been extremely concerning and, in my experience, untrustworthy. For two years, I’ve had routine cleanings every three months without receiving a bill. At a recent appointment, I was unexpectedly asked to pay $128. When I inquired why I was being billed now, I was told that my previous visits had been covered using a "credit" on file. This was the first time I had heard of such a credit. After further investigation, I learned that the credit had come from an overpayment related to a medical procedure my wife had two years ago. Neither my wife nor I were ever informed of this overpayment, nor were we offered a refund. Instead, the office unilaterally applied that credit—originating from my wife’s account—to cover my dental procedures, without our knowledge or consent. For context, my wife and I have separate dental insurance plans, and at no point did I authorize the use of her account or funds for my treatment. When I asked for documentation showing my approval or any signed consent to use that credit on my behalf, the office admitted they had none and claimed they had simply assumed it was acceptable. Additionally, when I requested the necessary records to transfer my care elsewhere, the front office staff was dismissive and told me to “go ahead.” While the dental care itself has been excellent, the mishandling of financial matters raises serious concerns. I would advise all current and prospective patients to closely monitor their billing and account activity with this office

I unfortunately think this place is a scam. I went here about a year and a half ago for a check up. They told me I had four cavities which seemed crazy since I had none six months before when I went somewhere else and I’d never had a cavity before. I never got them filled and we moved. I’ve now been to another dentist twice and they’ve said I have none six months cavities. So just be aware and ask questions
