I was totally down in the dumps when I walked into Dr Alex's office. I knew I was going to need an extraction and an implant. Dr Alex and his staff were so reassuring. Dr Alex spent a good amount of time explaining everything to me. He answered all my questions and I never felt rushed. My situation took a long time to heal and I had to trust in Dr Alex's advice to be patient. Today I had my new tooth installed and I couldn't be happier. My saga is over and my smile looks better than ever. Hip hip hurray!!
I had a really great experience with Center City Periodontics. The entire office and staff are really kind and welcoming, and the space itself is quiet and calming with nice views. I never had to wait more than a few minutes before each appointment. I had a gum graft procedure in August 2025 with Dr. Alex and the results were incredible. I had a lot of anxiety going in to this, but Dr. Alex is very patient and kindly walks you through every step of the procedure. It was easy to schedule follow up appointments and reach the doctor out of hours in case of any post-op complications. Dr. Alex was also very personable and empathetic, and I think that is a really helpful quality in communicating (often scary and confusing) medical procedures and healing. The procedure was done very well, and I didn't feel anything at all during the procedure. The results, as I mentioned, are picture-perfect. Healing is a subjective, bumpy process, but I was very much supported by Dr. Alex and the staff in getting all of the individual care/prescriptions/mouth rinses that helped me heal fully. All in all, I highly recommend this periodontist group.
From the very first meeting with Dr Alex, you will love this guy! Honest, articulate and he explains the ENTIRE procedure from start to finish. His level of care is exemplary and his dentistry is spot on perfect! No pain, the follow-up care was first-rate and he sends hand written letters to ensure you are happy with not only his work, but with the staff as well! And the staff? Customer service is their specialty and they deliver every time. They make the payment arrangements, are forthright, honest and do it all with a smile! I've been in this office for a couple of years now. Dr. Kohler is amazing. I had a couple of major procedures including an implant with him. He is knowledgeable and patient. He ensured that I did not experience any pain during the procedures as you know when you have gum diseases, teeth is very sensitive. The hygienist is one of the best: gentle , thorough and completely pain free. Dr. Alex is also thorough and patient. Front desk staff is courteous, prompt and friendly. One of best dental offices !!!
Dr Kitaygorodskiy is a wonderful periodontist, and a very warm and generous person. Several months ago, he took the time to educate me about the correct brushing and flossing procedures. And because of that care, and a deep cleaning that he performed, I am no longer a candidate for gum surgery. My gums have healed beautifully!! My enormous gratitude goes out to Dr. K and his dedicated technicians, and I would highly recommend this group to anyone needing Periodontal care.
