I had 3 wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Strauss and cannot stress enough how easy he and the team made the entire process. I was in and out and had practically little to no pain or swelling at all! Dr. Strauss and his team were very transparent, understanding, and professional! I never thought getting 3 wisdom teeth removed would be such a easy and smooth process. Thank you again Dr. Strauss and team!
I had a surgery with Dr. Leshlop this summer and the initial process went well. The team was super nice and I wasn't really scared. However, when I faced complications afterwards, my surgeon was MIA. I had two separate trips to the ER with profuse bleeding, enough to drop my hemoglobin to a 5.8. It ended up being a torn artery in my bone, which absolutely sucked. Its hard to directly say this was a result of Charleston Oral & Facial since I was treated at MUSC twice for the bleeding, but it would have been nice if during an emergency of me gushing blood, they could've tried to fit me into the James Island office instead of telling me they can only see me in Ladson, during rush hour. My first bleeding episode happened at 3am so no one was really available to help. When I was finally able to go and see them, Dr. Lee ended up seeing me, and he was absolutely amazing, kind, and understanding of why I was so upset. I wouldn't say don't good but I would say be prepared if you face any complications as it was hard for them to be able to see me and treat me, making it easier for me to just go to MUSC.
I am so grateful to the staff at Charleston Oral and Facial Surgery and specifically, to Dr. Strauss. I had concerns about my 90 year-old mother with Alzheimer's having surgery, but all went very well. They were kind, patient, professional and truly a delight to work with.. Thank you, Staff!
Dr. Strauss and his entire team, medical and administrative were wonderful. I had full upper implants and partial lower implants implanted. At no time during the procedure and recovery period did I experience any pain or discomfort. The team was very patient and understanding throughout the entire process. Dr. Strauss coordinated flawlessly with my dentist to ensure a timely and smooth transition. I was very satisfied and highly recommend Dr. Strauss.
Recently I had oral surgery and Dr Strauss was my surgeon. He and the staff did a great job. My planned surgery was one week when I started having a lot of pain. I called in the morning about a week before my surgery and they got me in the same day. Thank you. I highly recommend
