I’ve always been afraid of going to the dentist and never had treatment without needing gas sedation — until I started going to Dr. Thomas J. Lanzilotti at Chestnut Hills Smiles in Newark, DE. Dr. Lanzilotti is kind, professional, and genuinely gentle. He takes the time to explain everything, his diagnoses are accurate, and his work is efficient. His bedside manner really puts you at ease, and his staff is just as pleasant and supportive. What I appreciate most is that I consistently leave pain-free and his work is excellent im so confident about the work that’s been done — Scheduling is smooth, the environment is comfortable, and the overall experience has been excellent every time. I cannot say enough amazing things about Chestnut Hill Smiles. From the moment you walk in, you feel like family. The entire staff is phenomenal from the front desk Ladies to the assistants to the hygienists. Everyone is welcoming, kind, and genuinely cares about you. My dentist Dr. Lanzilotti is absolutely amazing so personable and easy to talk to. We even share connections from our home state, which makes the whole experience feel even more comfortable and personal. Chestnut Hill Smiles has truly changed my life. They’ve transformed the way I smile and laugh, and most importantly, they’ve boosted my confidence in a way I didn’t think was possible. When I first started, I was extremely nervous, but they took the time to understand that and made me feel completely at ease. I’ve been going here for almost five years now, and I wouldn’t change a thing. I highly, highly, highly recommend them they are just that good. I’ve worked in customer service for over 25 years, so I know what exceptional service looks like, and this team exceeds it every single time. Their care, their energy, and yes their “magical hands” make every visit a great experience. You can relax, laugh, and even have meaningful conversations while sitting in the chair. Renee is the best hygienist I’ve had! She does a great job and is so nice!! The only reason I gave it a four stars is because the office is so busy that I couldn’t get a follow up with a six month cleaning appointment I had to schedule for January 2027. They need to think of there patients that have been with them for years. But having Renee makes it!!
We absolutely love Chestnut Hill Smiles! The staff is kind, patient, and always takes such great care of my son. They make him feel comfortable every visit—and he actually enjoys going to the dentist, which says everything. Highly recommend
I’m so glad I ended up finding this dental practice. I had to switch dentists after my previous one stopped accepting my insurance, and honestly it turned out to be a blessing in disguise. From the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming, friendly, and professional. They made the whole experience comfortable and stress-free. Dr Lanzilotti was incredibly thorough, took the time to explain everything clearly, and made sure all my questions were answered. I’ve always had a bit of anxiety about dental visits, but they were very understanding and did a great job putting me at ease. I never felt rushed and truly felt like they cared about my comfort and my dental health. Overall, it was a much better experience than I’ve had in the past. I’m really happy I found them and would highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, caring, and thorough dentist.
