I would like to recognize Dr. Moleski and her assistant Mary for their outstanding work in dentistry and patient care, as well as her staff as a whole. I grew up having dental work done by dentists who controlled me through fear and the anxiety stayed with me into adulthood. I am grateful to say that due to the compassionate and competent care by Dr. Moleski and her staff over the years my fear has been replaced by trust and I no longer dread going to the dentist. Yesterday I had a root canal done by Dr. Moleski and was relaxed and pain-free throughout the entire procedure and afterwards. Mary, her assistant, was excellent, always on task and of great importance to me, used the suction device so that I never felt I was choking, which was always a fear of mine. I was pleasantly surprised upon reading the take home instructions to see that not only was the office phone number listed if I needed to call, but also Dr. Moleski’s cell phone. I have never been given a physician’s cell phone number. This is yet another measure of Dr. Moleski’s dedication to her patients’ comfort and wellbeing. Dr. Moleski also stays current with procedures and technology which ensures the best results in dental work and promotes patient comfort and safety. I really appreciate her going the extra mile. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Moleski and her staff to meet any dental needs you may have.
Dr. Moleski is the best dentist I have been to (and yes, I have been to plenty of them..;-) She is painless; she LISTENS; she is kind and thoughtful. She is a really good dentist!! She was a wonderful dentist to my daughters as they grew up. Her staff is always friendly and helpful. I am grateful to have found her practice.
On a whim, I walked into Dr. Moleski’s office last November and spoke with the receptionist, Marcie, at length. For the last 10 years that I've lived in Juneau, I have returned to my former dentist in California for cleaning and fillings every 6 months, along with trips for caps, root canals, and even emergency care. I’m diligent about my dental care because I know that if I neglect it, it can be more painful and lead to life-threatening consequences, but I’m older and I didn’t receive any dental care for the first half of my life, so my problems tend to be worse. Marcy made me feel at ease and she spoke with my old dentist’s longtime receptionist, Nancy, who I’d known for 25 years. After Nancy transferred the records, Nancy called me to let me know this was the right office for me. She was right. I've tried 4 or 5 other dentists here, but I have a severe dental phobia, and none of them could make me as comfortable as my old dentist. I’m fearless about everything else in my life, but the morning before a dental appointment, I’m a blubbering mess. I’ve rarely had a painless dental appointment, no matter how much topical anesthesia, nitrous or novocaine I get. My old dentist would sometimes need to give me nitrous in the waiting room, before I could even come into the exam room, and his care was always excellent. Marcie was able to give me an appointment the next week. The cleaning and the exam, with x-rays, went really well, although I was still quite nervous. I did have two cavities, but because of travel plans, I was unable to have Dr. Moleski fix them until yesterday. I’ve been told that I metabolize anesthesia 3 times faster than normal — yay, anxiety? — so I was anticipating it being more difficult. It was not at all. Dr. Moleski works fast, efficiently, and calmly, and is meticulous in her work. She was warm, compassionate and understanding, but also got me in and out of the office quickly. Her assistant, Mary, waited with me until she was sure the Nitrous had worn off. Mary encouraged me to let them know if my bite felt at all “off”, once the Novocaine had worn off, and that she would get me right back in the office immediately if I was at all unhappy. As far as I can tell, her work is perfect. I know anxious patients like me have to be the worst for dentists but they've so kind to me. I’m so grateful I stumbled into her office. If I’d had someone like her from the time I was young, I probably wouldn’t have the anxiety I have now.
A bridge popped off my implant posts while I was on a cruise ship. I was near panic because it was difficult for me to eat and the posts were sharp and cutting my tongue. Dr. Moleski was able to accommodate me during the short time we were in port in Juneau. Although she knew I was a onetime patient, she and her staff were so very nice. The bridge is securely in place now and for that I'm very grateful. Also, the cost was more than reasonable.
