My 8yo daughter had to have some extractions done and was very anxious and scared. The team was so caring with her and made her as comfortable as possible. The extractions took less than 20 minutes and they made sure to bring me back as soon as they could and took very good care of her while she was in recovery. I appreciate the office for making this a much better experience than it could have been.
The staff were very nice and professional. The wisdom tooth extraction was quick. I made sure and let them know in advance that my daughter was afraid of getting the IV for annestedia and they took extra care to make her comfortable. They gave us detailed instructions for aftercare and even called to check up on us after the procedure. Very professional group I would highly recommend.
It started with the lady who called us to the back. She was very rude from the get go and ugly to my child. He was crying when she said he would have a needle and she said if he’s going to do this we will not have him here. I told her the doctor could talk to me if he has an issue. My son told me they threatened to send him to children’s hospital for crying and that Dr. Holmes yelled at him for being loud. In recovery they pushed us out as my 7 year old was dry heaving and vomiting and the lady literally closed the back door on us as he was vomiting. They were unprofessional, rude and very ugly to a child. They shouldn’t allow children there if they can’t handle a kid being upset and crying. As the being pushed out as he was vomiting while coming off anesthesia I have been told that’s a huge NO by 2 other medical professionals. I attempted twice to call the office manager to discuss and that didn’t work. So I will warn any and all moms of small kids.
I truly can’t thank Dr. Holmes and his team enough! From check-in to check-out, everything was smooth and professional. The entire staff was kind, reassuring, and made my daughter feel completely comfortable. The procedure itself was so fast much quicker than I expected! I was also amazed at how well the anesthesia was handled. I’ve seen family members come out of wisdom teeth surgery talking out the side of their head, but my daughter was calm, clear, and alert. She wasn’t overly sleepy once we got home, and now we’re on day two with absolutely no pain and minimal swelling! Dr. Holmes even came out to speak with me personally before releasing her, and the nurse called later that day to check on her. As a mom, that follow-up meant the world to me. I also really appreciated being able to get her scheduled right away on the day I requested. Everything about this experience was top-tier professional, efficient, and caring. Thank you, Dr. Holmes and team, for taking such great care of my daughter!
Upon booking, I did not receive a confirmation until a couple weeks before my appointment. I had to be proactive to double check with the facility to ensure my appointment was booked after the first phone call. While waiting to be seen by the doctor the staff was very friendly and hospitable. The customer service from that point of view was as amazing but I wish the procedure was explained to be before being out under. No one explained the process and next steps for the day. Post op instructions were clear because of the pamphlet given. The biggest takeaway is please explain the procedure to the patient before taking them back and while inputting the IV. Things were just done to be and not explained. I would not recommend this facility to anyone because of that.
