Dr. Holeman is, hands down, the best dentist I've ever been to (and I've been to a lot). I have gotten so many compliments on my crowns that are as beautiful now as they were when I got them done 8 years ago. Going to the dentist isn't something you usually would call "pleasant", but with all the cleanings, fillings, and other work I've had done here, I'd say all of it has been pleasant! Dr. Holeman is also an absolute wizard with the numbing shots. His staff are wonderful and friendly too!

I cannot say enough good things about this doctor and his staff. We were traveling from out of town and had a dental emergency. Dr Holeman returned my after hours call and assured me that they would be happy to see us the next day when we got to Cody. He prescribed the appropriate antibiotics and medicine to treat the dental problem and told us to call him back over the weekend if the medication was not helping, assuring us that he would get the Voicemail and call in something different. He and his staff were so kind and compassionate, genuinely interested in helping us get what we needed to be able to complete our vacation. They were truly a Godsend.

If you have an autistic child, I highly recommend seeking another dental option. Whoever the blonde lady is that works the front desk is discriminatory and will call you an inconvenience while your child has a meltdown. I understand autistic meltdowns aren’t fun, I am the parent of an autistic child. But it is not the receptionist job to push you out of the room while you were trying to calm your child down further making your child feel even worse about what is going on. Then she told my daughter that she’s “sorry your mommy is forcing you do things you don’t want to do”. It’s hard enough to get an autistic kid to the dentist, but then the negative reinforcement of her BS apology to my daughter for making her meltdown even more after I was talking to my daughter and getting her calm was just absolutely unacceptable. I have never felt so discriminated against in my life all over a meltdown that I could’ve talked my daughter out of in five minutes had that lady not been breathing down our necks telling us that we were an inconvenience and we needed to get out now. On top of all the discrimination, they messed up the schedule and canceled my cleaning and then told us that my daughter wouldn’t be getting her fillings for the day, then turned around and said that my cleaning was still canceled, but my daughter could still be seen. The dentist was nice. He has always been nice, but because of that receptionist this place will be losing three clients due to her discriminatory acts and inconsideration for the autism spectrum of a five year-old child. My daughter already felt bad enough that she was too afraid to get the mouth numb shot, and that lady kept making it worse by trying to push us out of the room. All I asked for was five minutes alone with my daughter to get her to calm down and reasonably explain to her that we had to go to another dentist, because we ran out of time, I didn’t even get the chance to explain that to my daughter because of whoever that lady was rushing us and pushing us out of the room. My daughter does not do well with the unexpected and if that lady didn’t keep coming in and harassing us, my daughter would’ve stopped crying and understood that it was time to leave, but instead she kept harassing us so my daughter kept having a meltdown every time that lady would say something.

While visiting Cody, I broke one of my eye teeth. When I contacted Cody Dental Office the office person was very friendly and arranged an appointment for the same day. Dr Holeman and his assistant repaired my broken tooth and my smile looks better than when I had my original tooth. They were very professional and friendly. I would recommend this Dental Office for any dental work a person needs. Very happy camper!!!

While traveling the country and being 2000 miles from home I developed a Severe toothache in Cody, Wyoming. Obviously desperate for relief we started searching for a dentist to help. After reading a few reviews we decided to call Dr. Holeman at Cody Dental Excellence. What a GREAT choice we made. I called at 8:15 AM, I was sitting in the chair being taken care of by Dr. Holeman by 9:00 AM. I just can’t say enough to describe how friendly and welcoming the entire staff was. They were very professional and made me feel right at home. Dr Holeman took great care of me and made me feel so much better. My only regret is that Dr Holeman and his staff won’t by my forever dentist. I strongly recommend the great team at Cody Dental Excellence to anyone traveling to Yellowstone or living in or around Cody, you will be glad you did. I am so grateful to Dr Holeman and his team of pros!
