Cook Periodontics is truly something special. As a busy mom, I needed a same-day, last-minute appointment for my daughter, and from the moment I called, their team went above and beyond to take care of us. Sydney was incredible, innately kind, patient, and genuinely committed to helping. She worked hard to get my daughter scheduled and accommodated, and I felt like I was experiencing a real “servant leader” in action. That level of care is rare, and I’m so grateful for her effort. Cerrissa, our dental assistant, was equally wonderful. She took her time explaining the procedure in a way that made my daughter (and me) feel calm and confident. She answered all of our questions and addressed our concerns without rushing us. She was so thoughtful, and as a fellow proud mom, I loved connecting with her. And Dr. Deana Cook was amazing, fast, professional, efficient, and clearly excellent at what she does. The whole experience was smooth and reassuring, and it was refreshing to meet genuinely nice people who truly care. If you’re looking for a practice that is more than accommodating, Cook Periodontics is it. Highly recommend!
I just moved to NC from MA 2 weeks ago. I needed to have a cracked and infected tooth removed. I called Dr. Cook's office and Sarah fit me in for an appt. within 3 days for an evaluation. The day of my evaluation Cerrissa the dental assistant was amazing! She took the time to explain everything to me in great detail. She even used an analogy that helped ease my mind about how this could have happened. Dr. Cook came into meet me and explain what she saw on my X-ray and what needed to be done. Michelle then put me on their schedule for the next day at 8am. The day of the procedure went very well. Both Cerrissa and Roland were there with me to explain everything they were going to do. I was able to say hello to Dr. Cook and her very calm and professional demeanor is what I needed before I was given the sedation. I would highly recommend this practice!
No one wants to have to replace a bridge with implants!! But…. I must say Dr Cook and her terrific staff make it relatively simple with minimal discomfort. Michelle laid my financial plan out with clarity and very good communications. Arianna was beside me during the entire process assuring I was comfortable and checked in with me the following day to assure I was doing well. While I have several months to go before my bridge is completely replaced, so far I am very pleased with Dr Cook and her staff and will highly recommend her practice to my family and friends.
Dr. Cook and her staff are terrific. Dr. Cook herself is not only highly professional, but also a perfectionist and a very skilled surgeon. I previously had extensive dental work done in NYC by a supposedly well-known surgeon, which unfortunately resulted in multiple implant failures and subpar bone grafts. Dr. Cook had to clean up this very costly mess. Her thorough approach to both pre- and post-treatment made a significant difference in my recovery process. My experience with the office staff was nothing short of excellent. Dr. Cook’s dental assistant, Ariana, was terrific, as was my surgical coordinator, Michelle. You can feel confident knowing you’re in excellent hands—you won’t be disappointed.
From my arrival, interaction with Cerrisa, then Roland and Dr Cook made my visit a pleasant one, even through the extraction! Totally professional experience! Michelle coordinated everything and fully explained, leaving no questions!
