Been going since September 2024. Did full deep cleaning and continuing cleanings every three months. Today I walked in for a cleaning. Was told they would be doing X-rays and exam with dentist in addition to the cleaning I am a cash paying customer so naturally I asked what was this going to cost because I had just anticipated the cleaning fee for today which is about $200.00. The hygienist says I don't know that depends on the dentist. I explained that I had only budgeted for the cleaning and can I just do the cleaning today and come back for the exam and x-rays. She says no it's against the law. I said it would have been nice if someone had forewarned me prior to the appointment and she said they would have told me this three months ago when I made the appointment while checking out from a cleaning. I know they didn't tell me because I was the last appointment at 4 p.m. and even had to ask to make another appointment because she didn't even inquire once I paid for the current one. They must have been in hurry to get out of there. Plus my last appointment was on November 24th which was already past the year that is supposedly against the law so the whole thing makes no practical sense. Plus I brought my mom in for her second appointment earlier in the week to start a tooth removal for a new bridge. I dropped her off and they called me later and said they would not start working on her unless I came back and paid up front. We had already picked the procedure and the price at her previous appointment. No one said I had to pay in advance. They said that's our policy period. If it's your policy just say something at the time we are picking out our options. I would have had no problem paying for it at that time. I guess they thought I was just going to leave her there without paying? Luckily found another dentist in St. George charging $249 for the cleaning and the exam and they had a cancellation for tomorrow so I am going to be on track with my cleanings anyways. Probably better off in the end.
They are fantastic staff and technicians. Dr ofori did a great job as usual, she made sure I was comfortable and everything was fine. I’ve had nothing but great experiences here. Thank you very much.
Dr. Ofori is very professional, expertly checked my teeth and gum status during my 1st visit, and explaining my x-rays. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, explained what they're going to do next. The staff always checks my Blood pressure before every treatment...the 1st dental office I've been in to do this important parameter in my 70+ years of dental visits. My dental hygienist, Patrice really did a great job! Looking forward to my next appointment. I highly recommend Dr. Ofori's dental office.

I've been with Dr. Ofori since I came to Mesquite. 18 years. ago. Always a positive experience. She and her staff have a way of making patients feel comfortable and understood. They are professional, friendly and know what they are doing.
