I brought my 2 teenage kids here for full wisdom extractions and I am very please with the service we received. The staff were so friendly and polite. Consultation takes more time than the actual procedure itself. Dr. Jeffries explained the process with the X-rays and was able to answer any questions we had. Her cheerful upbeat attitude helped ease the nerves before the procedure. It wasn’t long before they were released. Aftercare was well explained verbally and on paper. My kids did a great job recovering with little to no pain. Tylenol, ibuprofen, and soft foods are the way to go. I highly recommend Dr. Jeffries for any oral procedures.
My son just had his wisdom teeth extracted Monday and literally has made the fastest recovery I’ve seen post treatment. I work in dental and have seen a lot in my career, I appreciate the care Dr. Jeffries and her dental assistant team in answering all my questions and reassuring my concerns before my son’s procedure. Her front desk staff were professional and answered my insurance questions over the phone and text. My son didn’t experience the over groggy feeling post treatment, based on this I know she administered the appropriate amount of anesthesia for his size and weight. The post surgical sites look great, happy and healthy tissue with dissolvable sutures. We even noticed a specific dental feature he had at the consult. Her team is efficient and caring which I observed while waiting in the office. The only thing I thought was different was that the consult occurred right before the procedure but Dr. Jeffries and her team delivered. I’d recommend her for simple wisdom teeth extractions. With our brief interaction, she was very sweet and she gets that she has important people in her chair before taking them back for procedures. Most people explain that these procedures are “simple” but they actually aren’t, there’s a lot of training and knowledge on anatomy and administering drugs into a strangers body. I can see in my son’s recovery that she paid attention and I would recommend her for other patients. Her dental assistants gave thorough post op instructions and even given instructions in case there’s a dental emergency. Great job!! Thank you!
They were all very welcoming and accommodating! Both the nurses and the head doctor were very patient and kind, making sure to help whenever they could and walked me throughly on what needed to be done and what the procedure was gonna be like! The procedure itself was absolutely painless, they gave me a sedative and it worked like a charm! They were very careful and professional about it, keeping in check my oxygen levels and heartbeat while I was asleep. After the procedure they helped me into a wheelchair where I was taken to a resting area where they made sure I sobered up enough to walk safely on my own before wheeling me to the car I was taking home. All of this took no less than 2 hours so pretty quick work! Overall, the place and atmosphere was delightful and the doctor for sure took care of me like I was her own!
The staff and Dr. Jeffries were amazing. Very nice and attention to patients is outstanding. It's only day 2 and my child is doing great. Process and procedure was fast and efficient. I works recommend them anytime.
It seems that everyone you talk to about tooth extraction with an oral surgeon has a horror story. I went into Cottonwood Oral and Maxilla facial Surgery office worried about what would happen. The staff was extremely competent. They sat me down and did a consultation to explain what would happen, how it would be when I finished and how they would help to make sure it was a pleasant experience. As much as usual. Dr Jeffries is delightful and loves her work. It was almost as if she couldn't wait to pull my teeth for me. I have had no pain and this was almost a pleasant experience.
