I was referred by my dentist to have my implants done. Let me say he has an awesome bedside manner. Lol. I say this because I hate going to the dentist. My previous dentist was a nitemare. However, along with my current dentist and Dr Yamamoto I was able to have a pain free procedure. I felt nothing. Kinda makes me want to go back. Lol. My previous oral surgeon had all his teeth removed and replaced with implants. Why? He said bcuz the titanium will make his jaw bone stronger and less maintenance for him. Okay? Lol. Extreme. But I can say Dr. Yamamoto is an awesome surgeon and person. I got one more implant then I'm done unfortunately. Lol. I need a morning appointment for consultation and they only do afternoon appointments. I work. So I have no idea how I'm gonna get it done. Please help.
This was my first experience having an implant procedure done. I was apprehensive(worried) that there was going to be unbearable pain & discomfort. Procedure lasted 35 to 40 minutes. Dr. Yamamoto & his entire staff including the front office were extremely helpful, courteous & service minded throughout my 4 visits. The pain??? I was very surprised that the pain was minimal to non-existent. Discomfort was basically eating on the opposite side of my mouth. SIMPLY A GREAT JOB!!!! Anyone need ice cream? I didn’t need it for comfort. Thank you
Wonderful, professional, empathetic, knowledgeful dentist with top of line facility. I went in after a terrible experience at another dentist office. Needed multiple treatments, extractions and implants but I was traumatized from the previous experience after moving to the islands from California. Dr. Yamamoto listened and assured me he will wipe away all my bad thoughts. And he surely did so. His implant procedure was no joke, PAINLESS - during and post op. I am AMAZED. He was so attentive, he was instructing his assistants while working on me but made sure I was always comfortable. I just listened away to my music through my earbuds. Had 2 extractions and an implant all in one sitting. Less than 40 mins. Unbelievably professional and you are in good hands with Dr. Yamamoto. All his workers are courteous and pleasant. They are really lucky they are learning from the very BEST. Implants are $$$$ so even though I need multiple extractions, wasn’t thinking of getting implants for all of them but now, I do want it!!! I would return without a blink! Saving $$$ to go back to see him. I give him all the stars I can give. Mahalo
Professional and knowledgeable. Does not mind taking the time to explain in detail what they will do to you. Personally noticed that entire crew noticed my nonverbal fear of a particular procedure for implant. The willingness to explore and try other techniques was greatly appreciated.
Had an implant done because I cracked a tooth. Dr.Yamamoto and his staff provided an awesome experience. Everyone was friendly and very professional. In addition, they had cutting edge equipment that made the creation of my new tooth implant much more precise then using old school methods. I would highly recommend Dr.Yamamoto to anyone needing a tooth implant.
