Crosstown Dental almost makes going to the dentist fun. I have never had to wait in the waiting room, whisked right to the chair, teeth cleaned and polished and on my way I go. They are respectful of your time, they don’t push unnecessary procedures and they don’t make you fill out forms that have been photocopied over and over since 1985. On the off chance they need anything from you, you can do it online ahead of time. One form, less than 2 minutes and no repeat once you are at the office. Healthcare and efficiency, it does not happen often!
I used to go to the Crosstown location and never had any issues. Once, I had to miss or reschedule an appointment and they graciously waived the cancellation fee. Later, when they stopped accepting my insurance at that site, I was transferred to the Highland location. Unfortunately, the experience there was very different. I had something come up on the day of my appointment and needed to reschedule. When I called, the woman I spoke with was very curt and immediately told me that because I was rescheduling same-day, other people needed those slots and they “would be very strict about the fee.” I asked if they could extend a one-time courtesy—especially since this was my first cancellation with this location—and explained that I genuinely could not afford the $75 fee. She showed no concern and simply replied that my profile showed I had used a courtesy back in May of last year. In my opinion, life happens, and allowing one courtesy per calendar year is reasonable—especially at a new location. Still, I respected their policy and asked her to remove my profile and cancel everything. Instead of offering a solution, alternatives, or even acknowledging the financial strain, she cheerfully said “Great!” and hung up. I would not recommend this location at all. I never received that kind of treatment at Crosstown, and I had been going there since about 2018. Their staff was always warm, friendly, and accommodating. I’m disappointed that my insurance no longer covers that location, but Highland left such a bad taste in my mouth that I will not return or refer any of my colleagues or staff looking for dental care.
I truly enjoyed my visit at Crosstown Dental Group. The staff was very warm, professional and helpful. From the moment i arrived to the moment i was leaving, I felt valued and cared for as a customer. At the end of my visit i received a detailed quote for some services I planned on getting done. The administrator took time to walk me through how my insurance would help and so much more. I highly recommend you consider Crosstown Dental!
This was a great experience. After 20 years with my previous dentist…he retired. Taylor was great doing my cleaning. Even painless. Scheduled my next visit as I left.
I went to the same dental group in Germantown for 30 years, so making a change was difficult at first. I’m happy that I found this dental group at Crosstown. The professionalism, atmosphere, wait time, and overall service has been exceptional.
