I struggled with TMJ for years and tried countless doctors and treatments, none of which truly helped. I even saw another surgeon who quickly signed me up for surgery without much explanation, which didn’t sit right with me. Getting a second opinion from Dr. Sanovich was one of the best decisions I’ve made. He took the time to thoroughly examine my jaw, explain my options, and make sure I was getting the right surgery, not just a surgery. From start to finish, Dr. Sanovich and his entire team made me feel genuinely cared for and supported. My recovery was closely monitored, which was so comforting. Since surgery, my jaw no longer locks, clicks, pops out of place, or causes the sharp pain I dealt with for so long. The difference has been life-changing. Having been insecure about my underbite since childhood, I have explored corrective jaw surgery several times as an adult. However, the timing was never right due to financial, insurance, or family obligations. In 2024, at the age of 56, I finally decided to prioritize researching my options. Dr. Sanovich and his staff give superior customer service and a personalized overall experience, that provided us with a life impacting outcome we could have never imagined for our young, barely adult son. Every other specialist in the metroplex had told us there was nothing more that they could do. Everything they had tried was failing, from crowns to dental implants. We never dreamed he could have a full set of teeth, aside from removable denture appliances and then we found Dr. Sanovich! Dr Sanovich is the most compassionate and skilled surgeon I’ve met. I’ve unfortunately had many surgeries, but I think most of them could have been skipped had I gone straight to Dr Sanovich from the start. I came to Dr Sanovich because I was unhappy with the aesthetic outcome of jaw surgery that was done elsewhere. Instead of doing a revision, Dr Sanovich was able to restore my smile and feminine facial portions by doing a lip lift and genioplasty. The original jaw surgery done elsewhere resulted in an infection, and it was actually Dr Sanovich that caught the infection and pushed for further testing. Had it not been for him, who knows how long the infection would have gone undiagnosed! He even worked while he was on vacation to help me with the issue. I’m so thankful for his compassion during that time, working on an issue that he had no responsibility for. He is also so meticulous with his own work. I’ve had multiple jaw surgeries and genios, and Dr Sanovich was the only surgeon who showed me his surgical plans and kept me involved in the planning process and took my aesthetic preferences into account while planning. So many surgeons are dismissive and protective of their work, but Dr Sanovich is so down to earth and approachable, that I’m able to come to him with even the tiniest of issues, and he acknowledges them and works to make things perfect. I flew in from California to see him, and I’ve once gone back multiple times for other procedures because there is no one else I trust with my face. Also his office staff are sooo on top of things, which makes coordination easy and removes a lot of stress! I just can’t say enough good things about this surgeon and his practice! I’m so thankful for him.
My experience with Dr. Randy Sanovich and the team at Dallas Surgical Arts was beyond 5 stars. From my consultation through my follow ups, I was met with extreme professionalism and care. Dr. Sanovich has the surgical precision and expertise that in combination with his artistic skill results in a beautiful and functional outcome. I came to Dr. Sanovich after more than 30 years of TMJ issues, poor occlusion and relapsed orthognathic (jaw)surgery. He performed bilateral total joint replacement of my TMJ’s, Leforte, and some cosmetic tweaking. I am 3.5 months post surgery and am healing really well. The office is extremely organized and well run. Communication is excellent. Emily, Martin and everyone that I had the pleasure of interacting with were top notch. I consulted with 5 surgeons before deciding on Dr. Randy. I also traveled from out of state for this procedure. I am very happy that I chose Dr. Sanovich and Dallas Surgical Arts.
