    I alway have a great experience with Deerhaven. From the time I walk through the door, to leaving. The family at Deerhaven are super nice, very patient, and welcoming. They take their time to make sure you understand the next steps to make, or to explain what they are finding right then.

    Absolutely Amazing practice from front to back! From the Front Desk, to the Hygienist and All 3 doctors my family has interacted with, they all have been above and beyond Amazing. From our 3yo daughter, my wife and myself (both of which hadn’t been in for a while and recently relocated to the area) we all had great experiences. Couldn’t recommend a better place to have care for your 🦷!

    Entire staff went above and beyond in getting my crown cemented back on after it unexpectedly came off the evening prior. My regular dentist is not local. I called at 8am and was in the dental chair within hours. I am sure this saved me from having to get a whole new crown for it being off for too long and my bite changing. Forever grateful! Friendly, quick, painless, and reasonable cost. Thank you!

    Dr. Andrew Gutzka is the best dentist I have ever had. He genuinely cares about his patients’ health and financial situations and always tried to help me however he could. Unfortunately, my recent experience with the front office has been extremely disappointing. When I asked for my x-rays to be sent to a new dentist, the receptionist told me they could not provide them because I have an outstanding balance and I am still considered an “active” patient. I understand no new work can be done until that balance is paid. My balance exists because my insurance underestimated the cost of treatment, which created an overage. I am actively working with dental clinics and my insurance to fix the issue so I can move forward with care and avoid infection. However, by refusing to release my x-rays, they have forced me to start from scratch at a new office, which means additional time, expense, and unnecessary delays to my treatment. On top of this, when I asked for a breakdown of the billing line items compared to my estimate, I was given condescending explanations that made me feel stupid for not understanding how it worked. When I asked for costs for each upcoming appointment, I was told I would get a call back with what I should expect to pay. That call never came. Instead, I was left paying $700 at one appointment, then an additional $500 on another day, and so on, without clear communication or transparency. Patients should always have access to their records and to clear, respectful information about their care. While Dr. Gutzka himself is an excellent dentist, the way the office staff has handled billing and records has been frustrating, unprofessional, and has put unnecessary barriers in the way of my health.

    Deerhaven is not what it used to be! After 25 plus years and over $175,00 from my family they have a take you or leave you attitude.,they just want money! Disrespectful office staff,money /profits over patients. Long time patients are leaving. Get everything in writing,what they tell you may not be what they actually do. Very disappointed with their practices. Im sorry I referred dozens of clients to Deerhaven!
