I call this place professionalism with passion. The offfice staff always greets you with a smile. Their attitude puts you at ease right away. This is so important because let’s face it, periodontal work is not the easiest. Nancy my hygienist, is the best! She is never late. I never have to wait. She is caring, and so thorough! She knows her job. My teeth are never cleaner. Nancy knows how to dig! Which brings me to Dr. Brad. He is concerned about you as a patient. Your comfort is his highest priority. He takes his time, explains every step of the way. Plus he has a great sense of humor. So if your in need of periodontal care this is the place!

Professional Version On Monday, October 27th, 2025, I had a scheduled appointment at [Delaware Periodontics] to complete the final stage of my dental implant procedure for two teeth. The total cost of the treatment, amounting to $5,666.00, was fully paid out of pocket in March 2025, as my insurance did not cover any portion of the procedure. During this recent visit, I was informed by the front desk staff that an additional $198.00 payment was required for a diagnostic model, which they indicated would not be covered by insurance. I explained that all payments for this treatment had already been completed earlier in the year, and I requested that the matter be reviewed with the clinic’s financial advisor and insurance coordinator before proceeding. I was asked to wait in the lobby while the matter was reviewed. Shortly afterward, the front desk representative informed me that Dr. Klassman would not proceed with the scheduled procedure until the outstanding balance of $198.00 was paid. This situation caused me considerable concern, as I had previously settled all financial obligations related to this treatment. A few minutes later, Dr. Klassman arrived and requested that the front desk review my payment records again. Upon review, it was determined that the $198.00 charge had been applied to my account twice in error. The duplicate charge was then corrected. When I asked for clarification regarding the earlier decision to postpone the procedure, I was simply told that the issue had been resolved. No acknowledgment or apology was offered for the confusion or inconvenience caused by the billing error. As part of the clinic’s routine pre-procedure protocol, my blood pressure was checked, and it was recorded at 191/100+, likely due to the stress of the situation. This experience was deeply disappointing, particularly given the clinic’s previous reputation for excellent service and patient care.
